Why would a BLM meld mind in gear? Does this game do a poor job in explaining stats?

Why not save that gil for melding level 70 gear? Or buying glamours?

A friend of mine says they vendor or market their materia that they find. I went to correct them, but I didn't have an argument to stand on. Materia doesn't make enough of a difference. Its pretty bad when glamour serves a better purpose than affixing materia.

Vendoring materia is the second worst thing you can do with them behind destroying them. Materia that aren't going in gear go on the market board.

IMO, materia is something for those how want to be optimal/care about parses. Outside that there's no point.

For those how play casually or don't know how to play their jobs, there's little to no reason to meld, but for those who actually know what they are doing and know their job fully/care about being optimal.. Ye.

Bcoz empty slots really looks poor...! just fill in the holes! ^^;
meld a IV or below just 1-2K, it makes the ppl not look like lazy and the intention of just saving the V, it worths!

I think I can safely say I'm not alone in that I could not care less if others think my empty holes look bad or not. Fill your own and be happy. Don't try to force the rest of us to fill our holes too.

Who can force you? I mean the gear will be poor, not the player. Tho you got me wrong. ^^;

Materia's on gear are a CAN do NOT a HAVE TO ! o_O

I has some lv5 Materia for Max MP on my caster gears cuz I find it annoying having 9900MP XP
