Sadly you cut off the most important part of my post, to make it fit your needs and making me look arrogant.

Please heal as well." -> That would be absolutely fine! But nooooooooo... that person needed to act arrogant.
I am wondering, do you really truly believe I was wrong and the SCH was right in how he behave?

The thing is I did say Ill try and cant but was made into 'refusal' So for one attitude is not always apparent. Even when you explain difficulty your having it isnt always accepted or understood. Other than that everyone only seems to want the 'pro dps' players so any excuse will do. Just cant fathom all this hostility. When you know people need to learn, and Ive never had arrogance where I think If I can do it everyone can. Im really not an arrogant person, I have endless patience with learners and when they say they cant do something I accept it, and even people that want to heal. Just would like the community as a whole to be more accepting of others.

You are talking about the toxic group again? The one that I said you weren't the right fit for? And they kicked you because that particular group was a pro raid group looking for an exceptional healer? We already went over why nobody in that situation is wrong, clearly you didn't listen.

As for your attitude problems, I am directly talking about what I have experienced here on the forums, not in game.

This is the right way to talk about not DPSing as a healer:

Since I cam back, so many dungeons, raids, and trials have been added to the game and I became overwhelmed. With that said, I find myself trying to DPS but do it less for these reasons:

    1) I don't know the fights, and/or mechanics: I don't feel comfortable stance dancing because I am always scared I will screw things up.
    2) I don't trust the other healer: I never know if the other healer will heal correctly or not.
    3) Relearning my classes: Since I just got back, I feel like I am relearning the game all over again.

These are the reasons why while I try to DPS but do it less. I am probably going to get bashed on for this but I am sure other healers feel this way or was/are in the same situation I am.
You will notice that we told them that they were doing the right thing and that attitude towards healer DPS is the most important thing moving forward, not skill. The hostility towards you in particular is still regarding your attitude in this thread:

Sadly you cut off the most important part of my post, to make it fit your needs and making me look arrogant.
The only one who is bringing up these "unreasonable" attitudes in this discussion is you, have you noticed?
And that is where your arguments get lost in translation, because you still live in your fantasy world where everyone in this thread is hostile towards players who can't/don't DPS and you refuse to budge on it, even going as far as to cutting out the important points of peoples (who are trying to sympathise and help you) posts

The point is that choosing not to DPS on the principle of being a healer is bad play, and while people don't care in easy content really, skilled groups want skilled healers with a proactive attitude.

A healer who chooses not to DPS on principle is around a 1 or 2 in attitude regardless of what their skill is, and its not that people won't take unskilled players, its that people don't tolerate bad attitudes (See AmeliaVerves great example on the previous page).

Honestly, I've had enough of this thread, I have gone pages and pages trying to sympathise and change your mind and improve your attitude, but I feel like it is futile. It doesn't matter what your skill level is, how you perform in your group, whether you DPS or not as a healer; what you have shown is that you have a poor attitude towards the community, you don't listen, you don't take feedback on board, and in your mind you can't be at fault. So please, because I won't say this again, listen to the community, and improve your attitude, because it could be you that becomes the toxic player.

Your point is good, you put it better than I did because there was a bit of emotional release in mine, and I probably didn't cover all of the points I needed to, nor in the right tone.

I typed a super long text and just deleted it again, because I think it is not worth the effort, since this is going for >110 pages already and your opinion and points of view are set in stone.

It's sad people were rude to you and tried to force their way onto you. They were not right in doing so.
Since you said you are improving your DPSing as healer, just go on with that, it gets easier with more practice.

Be the change you want to see in the world!
Try to accept others that adore Healer DPS as well, please, and don't ask SE to take cleric away from those who actually like to DPS. That would be unfair.
