1.0 time line is Iffy, as my g/f showed me we watch a 15 year span via echos that take up most the 1.0 opening story. Yda is part of those echos as well so we can't bee 100%. Her mannerisms did change from 1.0> 2.0 >3.0 watch the 1.0 CS it is pretty weird.

Well 2.0 and 3.0 are both definitely Lyse. As for 1.0 its harder to be sure. The Yda from the echo visions would be the actual Yda but what is unclear is wether Lyse took over her sister's identity before the events leading up to the calamity or afterward.

odd because if you pick grid in 2.0 and ley yda talk you hear about the airship crash. Yet that was an echo. 0_0;

Time, as in years, doesn't move on until the lore specifically says so. Like it happens at the start of 2.0 with the "5 years later" canon.
As of now, we're still in the 5th year after the calamity. 6 years ago, when Yda died, was both before the calamity and before 1.0.

We never met her, we've always been with Lyse.

look up 1.0 cs you meet minfilia as a child then later in 1.0 as an adult. ff14 1.0 cs were almost always an echo. And it is stated that the momemts we see span 15 years from when gaes invaded eorzea at silvertear lake to joining the the precurser to the scoins.

so it is hard to say if 1.0 ppl met yda or not as the timeline of events of pre yoshida 1.0 is iffy based on "everything we see is an echo"
