Not really disconnects, but I have noticed in the past couple of months that lag spikes have gone from a very rare occurrence to a likelihood that it will happen at least once a day. Almost exclusively in dungeons -- I assume it is related to cross-server instancing somehow.

It's pretty aggravating, when I'm the healer in a big pull, and all of the sudden none of my skills do anything and I notice everyone has stopped moving. Then I get to wait for like 10 or 15 seconds, just praying when things get back to normal the group hasn't already wiped.

Weird choice of a title then... Just because its not your internet, it doesnt mean its a problem with the servers or their side either. Mass DC's happen and sometimes servers will be unstable but as long as your friends etc. are fine (ask them! or even ask people on the forums without a missleading title), its more likely that the problem is on your end - even if its not your internet.
Yes youre right the title is misleading i apologize for that. And thank you for a normal response not like some others here in this thread who seem to write crap in every thread just to write something and show others what nice Beings we have in our community.
My problem are not really the DCs either..more to what they lead to.My problem is the "long" wait time to get back in game and getting kicked because of that.Like i said in the first post i wont blame the people that kicked me either because i probably would do the same.

it might be your router firewall..
try setting up your router for port forward see below link.

To clarify, this is what SE says, but this isn't what's being used.

The launcher needs to reach 124.150.157.126 and 124.150.157.117 (port 443 SSL)
The login/lobby needs to reach 124.150.157.158:54994 and the game uses port 54680 and 54681 while doing this
When you click on your server (Excalibur 199.91.189.42:55006) it opens two connections to it, using ports 54906 and 54907 on your system.

What you're supposed to do is let UPnP work, or use "trigger" ports , when the game connects to a specific IP or port number, the software firewall in the router is supposed to let connections 54994-55006 pass through.

What causes peoples routers to crash is that the outbound ports are being blocked, or the inbound traffic is being overwhelmed and doesn't know where to send it. Honestly if you have a poor quality router (some brands may use the same brand for their cheap vxWorks devices and their slightly more expensive, much more hackable Linux based ones) this doesn't surprise me. The firmware may come with stock settings that recognize things like WoW and Everquest, but never anything new.

I can fully understand that, those are some technical problems the game has - either on your end or from the server. But yeah, as I said thats the real problem, not people kicking you - since you even admit yourself that you would do that^^'
Asking people to wait and informing them about the problem at the start of a run might be a temporary solution that could get you somewhere (even though I'd recommend to play a dps then, so that your party can actually progress without you til you come back), but in the end you should figure out WHY this is happening and fix that.

In defence of the people being triggerd by that: We ha da lot of threads about people complaning about being kicked about minor issues or even for their own wrong doing - so the whole title and description wasnt to well put^^'

The community does suck, also thank you for judging me based off one post, as if you're any better lol. But really, like you got kicked out of content. Just go back in, no point crying about split milk when there's more milk out there.

These daily forum-dwellers need to get off their high horses. Some responses to this thread are really sad.

Disconnects can be contributed too client side, server side and even network congestion. Network congestion is the big connection killer for me, its not always SE servers or your perosnal equipment that causes a D/C. Every MMO community has a toxic side the bigger the community is the more toxicity it has. Pointing fingers, throwing insults and being rude without a doubt don't help. OP thank you for acknowledging the mistake with your title of your thread

Note: Taking advice from a players alt, is like taking advice from a voice in a dark room. Criticism is a two way street remember that!!

I practically never D/C from the game. The game servers very rarely have issues and when they do - you're usually not the only one that gets booted.

It is likely on your side, or at least on the route your ISP takes to get to the server.
Consider trying a VPN / tunnel service if you're not using one.
Alternatively you could look into Port Forwarding from your router, which is another issue at times.

It may seem like your internet doesn't get interrupted but if it cuts out for a very short second, and you get booted from the game but the rest of your internet seems "fine" it was likely a very brief cut off that caused you to D/C..

So no, it's likely not the game's servers and there are generally ways to figure that out.
