Actually you know what I find most interesting?? Since Heavensward, there's been more of an effort to make your character less... generic (I saw emotes that weren't stoic nodding this patch! :O). NPCs acknowledge more and more that you probably have different things you'd prefer to do, and with the solo trial especially it's as though they tried to make it feel like a team effort with your Scion buddies, instead of them just sending you off to fight for them. You also see more characters getting called out for treating the WoL like a mindless fighter sent out to fight their battles every time.



I think since the Warriors of Darkness patch is when it really started to make you think where exactly your character's motivations are coming from and how they might relate to the bigger picture.

... I dunno, I thought it was interesting. ^^;

If it truly was as powerful as bahamut, we struggled against him at his weakest, i wouldn't be so sure of our odds against something like that at full strength.

that or the leaders are just a bunch of lazy mofo's who take the 1st easy way out as soon as it pops up

i mean look back in 2.0's story. thay were ready to give up till we came in and sed we would take care of it -_-

I was going to ask about this. Are we 100% sure he is a roe? He definately is the size of a roe, and has the same animations as a roe, but theres something about his face...

I mean, looking at him he seems like a hyur built on a roe frame and not an actual roe.

At first I thought all of the griffin statues had their wings broken off, symbolizing the oppression and subjugation of the Ala Mhigans, but then I realized it was just the positioning and/or style of the wings on the statues (depending on the statue) and I was really disappointed. Come on, Garlemald. You're better than this. Show a bit of professional pride. If you don't kick the dogs when they're down, they're just going to get back up.

The only thing I really liked was the cutscene of the fight. The solo-instance was very boring, just more of the same stuff we've been doing multiple times in the past, sitting in a mech for a little bit blowing up stuff in one hit (which is really really boring btw) for a minute in the middle doesn't really make much of a difference. Feels like I've already done more interesting stuff in the earlier classquests of some jobs to be honest.

Seems like that to me too. Just like Nero has an Elezen frame but is clearly not one.

Speaking of this guy, did anyone else note that he said that a SPY told him that the new primal's name was Shinryu? Could that mean we're being watched or that there's a traitor among us? :O
