Gosetsu is SO cool. It's great to see a Roe MSQ character again too.

I was going to ask about this. Are we 100% sure he is a roe? He definately is the size of a roe, and has the same animations as a roe, but theres something about his face...

They confirmed no new race. Adding a new race wouldn't go down too well.....

4/10 for the MSQ. Didn't enjoy it for a a finale.

Ydas tattoo vanished.
It's now like 99% chance that the Lady in Red from the SB trailer is "Yda".

Is it just me or did anyone think Gotesu voice and personality seen from the trailer would be different from what we got in-game?

I suspect that Gosetsu is a member of a 3rd Roe tribe with softer facial features native to the east.

Gosetsu's face may be a hint about expanded character creation options come SB.

I wasn't implying expanded player characters, just that he didn't look like a Roe. We have had NPC only races before (Garleans and Padjali most notably)

The fight between Omega and Shinryu was amazing.

This sealed the deal for me. I will start raiding again when Stormblood drops.

I wasn't implying expanded player characters, just that he didn't look like a Roe.

He doesn't look like the Roes we are familiar with because both the Sea Wolves and Hellsguard tribes have very sharp and hard facial features.

We have had NPC only races before (Garleans and Padjali most notably)

Both the Garleans and the Padjali are technically Hyur tribes.
