Oh, yeah, and I'm sure this has been mentioned upthread: Please, please for the love of the Twelve, even if it doesn't make IC sense, link the auction houses of all the cities in 2.0 together. Please. D: This would do a lot towards stopping the "everyone Ul'dah forever" phenomenon along with a party search function - I recognise it's probably not feasible in 1.20, but at least for 2.0.

    Thanks!

Question: Lots of people like PvP, will we ever get a PvP server where PKing is an option?

When are we going to get TRUE open world >>>end game<<< content? ex: sky/sea/HNM's

I understand we will have some sort of roaming Odin fight coming in the future, what type of content and battles with him be like? Will he work kind of like the Dark Ixion fight from XI?

I'm not sure if this has already been asked, but:

Sometime in the near future, maybe within next year, will we see an expansion on the Parley system? I think it would be fun to be able to challenge eachother to Parley and maybe have weekly/monthly ingame tournament events with rankings and all that jazz.

Hey, why not? I think it would be fun.

Have you put any thought into making randomization possible for some of the current and future repeatable content in-game?

Coming from FFXI, the content that kept being "fresh" for the longest and didn't become stagnant as easily were events that had randomization in them. See: pretty much every event in ToAU.

GuildLeves would benefit from this sort of feature the most in my opinion, in the current game. For being repeatable, leves suffer from stagnancy.

Regarding the Leve system, it would be fantastic if, while implementing more randomized features you could also make the ticket system more... Fluid. What I mean by this is that if you happen to have saved up many tickets and need to use them all at once, the constant need to go back to get more Leves from town, as well as the necessity to start and finish each leve "separately" breaks the pace of the event.

By making it more Fluid I basically mean that using tickets could be made a more streamlined process. Say, if you have 14 tickets at your disposal and want to use them all, you could go to a camp of your choosing and start a single leve. However, unlike before the objectives would stack up, meaning as soon as you finish one leve's objective you would get a message asking if you want to continue directly or quit. By answering Yes a new leve would start immediately, and by completing Both during the same run you would get a "stacking" bonus, as well as the individual rewards for both Leves. You could do this as long as you have more tickets to use, but there should be a slight penalty for stacking them up- say, for example 2 minutes are taken away from the total time you have to clear the next Leve.

This means that, for the first Leve you have 30 minutes to finish it, and if you choose to stack another on top of it, the second Leve would have a time limit of 28 minutes. The next one only 26 minutes, and so on.

With these two changes, Leves would be more random in nature, thus making the content stay interesting for longer (which is important for repeatable content), plus it would be easier and less of a hassle to use multiple tickets if you have more of them stored than you could possibly use.

Anyway that's just an example. My point here is: make leves system more fluid, create ways to keep repeatable content fresh and interesting for longer.

You're right, I subsequently saw an interview, and yes, that has been answered. Now I wanna know if the suggestions the new engine will have generally lower quality as a result (instead of quality scaling with system power), are true, or if more powerful computers displaying more characters at once is simply one more graphical improvement.

Well, that, and since they've said Final Fantasy XIV's new engine will use lessons learned with Luminous but not Luminous itself..

What's Final Fantasy XIV's unique new engine going to be called? Just a fun query.

In the face of new technology, and games like Guild Wars 2 beginning to push the boundaries of the old static content model, and EVE Online and supposedly the upcoming World of Darkness with the vast majority of their content being truly dynamic and rooted in player behaviour, will Final Fantasy XIV, largely static content, and the 'theme park' philosophy be able to continue to offer experiences of remotely comparable quality, enjoyability, and meaning?

Maybe not a concern about the future many will share or even understand but.. that's the one's been nagging at me most.
Love this question, please get the dev team to think about it and answer it. It's been nagging me too.

I would love to see this, sounds like a lot of fun. I always thought it would at least be a nice past-time if you could at least perform parlay between live players.

With regards to a taming class, is it possible for the tamer to have abilities that are good for solo play, but are also good to use in a party?

In FFXI, beastmaster was given several abilities to use on their pet, and yet in parties, they weren't popular because they were simply outclassed by other jobs. With the TP system in this game, is it possible for the tamer to have pets and pet abilities that could either support the party or damage the monster?

    Thank you.

Edit: With that said, can pets be more durable so they can viably be used in endgame activities?
