Make PvP great again, Boycott Season 4 of the Feast. Let our voices be heard!

You may not mind how it is now, but did you experience what it was like before? Because if you did, I strongly doubt you'd possibly hold any kind of favor toward what the Feast has become.

As for those who say it won't help or it won't work, consider this: You can do nothing, and guarantee nothing changes and you remain ignored, or you can take that chance to make yourselves heard. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

Considering SE track records of making reasonable pvp decision, I highly doubt they will be move by a boycott, plus SE already said concerning question about the chat banned that they are working on something but it will not take into effect until 4.0. So you are just punishing yourself from being able to take part in season 4.

That's just it, I'm really not. The rewards don't motivate me at all, I REALLY don't like the chat restriction or the Wolf's Heart box, and I especially don't like the way the Feast is handled with a double standard, nor the lack of any real two-way communication with SE regarding the near-unanimous opinions of the PvP community or the insistence on "adjusting" a feature that has been so poorly received and unwanted besides.

They can make all the adjustments they want, but if people don't want it, and never wanted it, it'll be quite the hard sell, and only more so as they continue to disregard player input. If it takes a sudden drop off in participation to wake them up, then let it happen.

To be fair: If this season is your chance to get the mount, or whatever possible reward you desire, go for it. Don't let anyone stop you. But also ask yourself what's more important; that one single reward you want, or finally being heard and having an overall better Feast experience? That's not my call to make for anyone other than myself. And I personally don't care to compete under the conditions they've set, and certainly not for those rewards. When they wake up and take us seriously on the chat restriction, the reporting of OBVIOUS cheaters and wintraders, and proper balancing, I'll be happy to compete again. Til then, if I absolutely want to play Feast matches, I can always arrange custom matches with friends.

At least I can chat and communicate with my team there.

If you boycott season 4 then your only choice is Frontlines? It takes an insane amount of time to get a Frontlines game in the morning, I just hope the new season will bring morning PVP.

I'm not participating due to the chat restrictions. If there's no communication, there's no team. Every win I've had since this absolutely stupid and lazy decision has felt like a random free for all or because the other team had bad healers or if they had any healers at all. It's like being in the army where communication with your colleagues is key to survival but communications are down.....you can't do you bloody job.

I'd rather lose in frontlines than win in feast.

Yes you can. You can plan ahead before the game even starts by looking at who's on the other team which was what I and many other people did with me when i was new. I used to play paladin and it was a player called 'Joe Never' who taught me(you know, a valuable thing you can't do now?) how to play in feast by harassing healers and black mages, i specifically remember him tell me 'NEVER LET BLM FREE CAST STUN THEM' (he type in all caps all the time for some reason) and we WON, lol i even remember the black mage, it was a poor player called Kyros Nyx. not because of some random free for all BS, we won because we had the ability to plan ahead.

Also people would have specific macros which aren't available now and on top of that people WOULD type in quick short sentences in a feast match. I have one it when wanting to address a specific person as have people done it to me

I learnt a lot from veteran players and wish to pass it on to newer players but i can't. So sick and tired of losing because you have that 10 stack paladin in sword diving into the enemy team getting LB'd and dying. This happens SOOOO much. But nope. Can't tell them anything like why they shouldn't be doing that or at least change stance and buff up. >_>
