Also, if you make a Miqo'te taller, change their body a little bit, make their ears a little longer and shorten their tail to either be a clipping nightmare or non-existent, you have yourself a third clan being as close to a Viera FFXIV will allow (since all you're going to get is a tall human-like person with rabbit ears and nothing more).

You know IMO all this push for Viera has more to do with their outfits than the race itself. If they add it players aren't going to be happy with just two set of clothes that suit Viera sexual theme, without those is just a taller miqote.

Not just that.
They are pretty awesome because they look mature and fierce. ATM, the only way to get that is with Roe and most of the faces are awfull, other races are more "delicate" and cute.
Beside the sexual idea, I think people want more "adult" like races thus resulting the demand of Vieras or Ronso.


The thing is they won't rework all the armour so the argument of "cat like" is valid in a sense :/
The only différence will be the bunny ears and the tail, we'll never get "real" Viera, at best pale imitations :/

I love Viera as much as you do, wich is why I don't want them here, because they won't be Vieras, they would probably be Elezen like at best or "kawaï waifu" just like the Aur'as (remember those awesome art works and compare them to....the cute ladies in distress we got Y.Y)

Ivalice Viera look very badass, but lets be real here, SE is going to look at what players like to play as and decide the race that way. I would not be suprised if we get the short Viera, since Super Duper Kawaii is something that alot of players (especially the JP community) like to play as.
