Could just keep it a 711 campaign/promo, I got one right across the street from where I work and one right down the street from where I live. I constantly buy tons of items there especially at night or in the early morning hrs. I wouldn't have to go out of my way if I wanted to participate, compared to ordering from amazon or some other weird method.

Well it's great that you have one so close, but my nearest 7/11 is an 8 hour drive away >.>

So it definitely doesn't work for everyone because I'm not going on a 16 hour overnight trip just to get FFXIV stuff from a 7/11 lol

I don't think keeping it a 7/11 promo is a good idea because Amazon reaches more people in NA I think.

7/11s are a gas/convenience store. They have them around in the US. Just not in my area.

I've gotten the impression that they're a more west coast thing. At least, I hadn't really ever seen them until I moved cross country. But they're all over the place here.

Have they even announced that these are coming to NA/EU? The site linked is fully in Japanese, there isn't even a hint of English or any message to us telling us we will be getting them. Last time, with the maid/butler outfit, we were told it would eventually come to us at the initial announcement, just not given any details to go on. This isn't giving us that.

They need to announce the other regional offer details early this time and also fairly. No staggered release when we're all playing on the same servers with people who can get the items right away - it's dumb. Imagine if the China/Korea servers weren't separate and we had to see those players enjoying their unique cash shop items months before we get a (really terrible) chance to buy them ourselves?

7-Eleven is irrelevant in most countries so I understand why they have to run different offers, but things like the Gamesmaster campaign were run so poorly that letting us pay Japanese people to buy soda for us now would almost be kinder if the codes weren't region locked. The magazine campaign was announced so late that people outside the UK could not actually participate in the mail order option for the items, yet because they were baited into believing local offers would be coming they didn't rush to beg UK locals to buy them copies either, and missed out.
