Me too!
Looking down the entrees, I do not begrudge the judges. There are a ton of excellent finalist designs. All, with the exception of the ice cream crepe thing, deserve a place in the game.
My only complaint is that a lot of the designs are female only. This annoys me because the rules explicitly state that the submission must be for males and females.
So, because of a lack of reading comprehension, some beautiful designs should be heading to the virtual paper shredder. I honestly don't know why they are even shown as finalists. So, is the intended message, "disregard our rules and win," Square Enix?![]()
The designs are all so amazing. I WANT THEM ALL xD

And again I point out, you do not need to add a drawing for your set in the opposite sex. They state in the rules that if you do not, they can edit your design to fit the opposite gender. It's not against the rules to create a design that looks good on a female. The devs would create a version for the guys (or the other way around for some).
regarding that i could try and defend my design by saying things noone would read. if you see the thought about male designs and how it would change, it is up to you to imagine. when i created the old and new covenant, i started directly after the tank contest and only finished the headpiece in that time. try to think how it would look on a male aura in black and nontransparent. prob all of the artworks who show details in m+f are not done in one month. there is a TON of work in some, but the sets need to be for all classes and not job specific. they should fit m+f without big changes. some of them are 2 different sets. it would be nice if you could look at some of the details =(
Same. I love this set so, so much. I used to main MNK, but I leveled BLM when I discovered the Wolfliege set and I've mained BLM ever since (still glamour Wolfliege on BLM). I don't play healer, but I would teach myself to heal like a boss if this was the gear set I had to look forward to. I haven't liked any gearsets for a long, long time, but this one rocks my world.
First of all, this is what it says:
- Design may feature any in-game race/gender combinations. However, the entry must be a gear design that can be used by any race/gender, therefore any entry specific to any one race/gender may be removed from the grand prize winner selection.
Second, I wasn't even talking only about female only designs. See those other rules:
- The gear must be for all of the following: head, body, hands, legs, and feet.
Now look at this:
while it's a nice design, it doesn't have hands or feet, and the skirt part being for legs isn't the first thing you think while looking at this. It's probably just head and body.
- The design must show both the front and back of the gear.
Last one only shows the back of the main body

dank meme
Please note that entries could be one or 2 images.
The hands, feet and legs of the first entry you showcased might be on image 2.1-2 images: front design (required) and back design (required)
The second entry you pointed out might have it back on a second image. "Female only" entries might have the male version on a second image.
The body back designs might be good enough in the 3rd and similar entries.

This.
Also would like to point out that the extra information about the designs themselves could have been added in text in the email itself.
Also pointing out the rules say:
"Your design may feature ANY RACE/GENDER COMBINATION OF YOUR CHOOSING"
"When the gear is implemented, we are planning to make it equip-able for all races and genders. IF NO INFORMATION IS INCLUDED ABOUT HOW THE GEAR SHOULD LOOK WHEN EQUIPPED BY MALE OR FEMALE CHARACTERS FOR EXAMPLE, THE DEVELOP TEAM MAY MAKE ADJUSTMENTS."
I really dig http://www.finalfantasyxiv.com/range...568.1468872330
I reminds me of the exorcist gear from Sōsei no Onmyōji. Honestly would like to see it as a lvl 1 glamour piece equipable by all jobs.
