Yeah this. Honestly it's not even worth reading the interviews...its just a buncha vague stuff with "maybe in the future" I just wait until patch notes to see what is coming...after all, look what happened to the Ultima fight. D:To be frank I'll be extremely surprised if they reveal anything substantial before Stormblood's release, other than the usual vague throwaway statements when directly asked something.
"There might maybe be something like this possibly and we'll maybe look into it in future", is the most we'll get
We should get a job action trailer in May at some point if they do anything like they did with HW. This also showed ingame footage of AF2 gear. So there's that at least. HW Job Action Trailer
I dont think anything will be revealed and they will leave it all a surprise. There may be a few things here and there but other than that nothing special.
I'm not familiar with the schedules, but not until at least a couple of weeks after the release of Part II of 3.55 is my guess.
They confirmed a Benchmark for 4.0 on their pre-order stream but did not give a release date.
If I have to guess they're holding it back until near 4.0 release since by then they can start cutting PS3 support and thus get players to test their system so players can adjust their graphics for 4.0.
Current Minimum requirements are not the actual minimum requirements as stated on the Stormblood page and is just "default" info until Benchmark is released and they can actually start testing 4.0 new graphics.
Expect the Minimum requirement Info to be reduced to lower requirements later once 4.0 Benchmark is released.
Don't hold your breath for relic weapon, new 4.0 skills and all 4.0 related gameplay stuff . The fact they don't talk about it speaks volumes.
They already said they'll talk about the new job skills and the whole revamp more in detail around May. My guess is we'll hear about how debuffs will work and potential confirmation on stat retools (Parry and Accuracy) sometime in April.
I hate the vague answers that we always get. I'd rather SE did what Blizzard does, that is to say tell us absolutely everything ahead of time. Zones, quests, abilities, combat changes, what dungeons we're going to get, the bosses and their mechanics, and even what the raids we're going to be getting are. I hate surprises and I'd rather know exactly what I'm getting in to way ahead of time.
