I was running Dun Scaith as a SCH the other day and my AST co-healer kept giving me all their arrows because they were upset the two SMNs in the party weren't helping with res-ing at all, not even when both of us got killed by other people being dumb with Nox.

They gave me the arrow again after we cleared too. Odd run.

Queued for leveling with a friend on AST yesterday because I was tired of tanking (working on DRK relic, 3rd tank relic) and we got a DRK and BRD working on their 170 animated relics in the Vault. Was a little sad bc I said "it's gonna be the Vault and I'll be sad bc I won't get light as an AST..." which did happen. T_T We had a great party though. The BRD played foes for me at almost every pull and I got a little risky with letting the tank get low. At one point they even used Living Dead. But I never let anyone die and we got through everything very fast. Those Foes bolstered Gravity spams. *_*

Um... you do get light in all HW content except maps and Aquapolis. Doesn't have to be level 60 as long as it's a HW duty.

I know that. I queued on AST. I am on the light step for DRK. I predicted that I'd get a HW duty and wouldn't be able to take advantage of it because I was running AST, and that's exactly what happened.

Was levelling an alt last week and running DF for the daily bonus. I'm working on LNC at level 19 with my wife levelling THM and get Tam Tara. Tank is a MRD(Sprout) and healer is CNJ. Should be an easy run.... CNJ is not new and asks MRD for big pulls. WE are both good with whatever works for the tank but he doesn't reply. The CNJ asks him a few more times before he finally answers in "Say" not Group chat that he will. I immediately mark him as a new to the game player based on that alone. WE all let him set the pace and pull, which turns out to be single targets... Yes, no rotation through the other two which meant my wife could not AOE and the CNJ was picking up aggro any time she cast a heal. So I started grabbing the extras and tanking them for him to keep them off the casters. Luckily the CNJ understood what I was doing and proceeded to keep me up as well. In between mobs I tried speaking to the MRD about making sure to grab all the enemies in the group and about the Overpower attack that hits all the enemies in a cone. No response. I also wanted to tell him about how to chat in the group channel and stuff but he seemed pretty set on just pulling and squishing things one at a time and not talking. The CNJ had it figured out and kept me alive for the rest of the run as i kept aggro on everything else. I thanked the CNJ at the end and commed them for a great job. MRD left without a word.

For the MRD, if you read this, it wasn't a horrible run and there is a lot to learn if you are really new to the game beyond just how each class works and which abilities do what. Please ask others in game if needed as there are many out there who can help you in a positive manner. ^_^ Never give up! Never surrender!

What is it like to be a Lalafell for such a length of time? ;') xP

I was doing The Vault for my Monk anima weapon. Greetings were exchanged from the start, nothing in between, and a butthurt attitude to the finish.
We were at the final boss and we were doing our thing. We got the boss down to 6% HP. The LB was 5% from being level 2 LB.
I use LB and drop the boss' HP to 3%, or just low enough to let the boss live for 5 more seconds, and we continue till the job is done.

Then the Machinist pipes up and says, "and thats why we dont lb the 2 boss".

I'm like, "???". And they're like, "if you don't understand, stop playing it, noob."

Thinking back on this, I think the Machinist was butthurt about the LB not reaching level 2 or that it didn't finish off the boss in one hit. Perhaps they were butthurt because they didn't get to use it?
In the end, this Machinist was petty asf. What do you guys think?

Some people really want to be the hero who gets the final hit and vanquishes the boss, could you imagine if this game had a "last hit" bonus, like whoever did it gets something extra. The drama that would ensue...

Even though you as the Monk on a boss, your LB imo should have a bigger priority as it does more damage with it being a single target strike.

Looking back at the Machinist's half coherent sentence, I'm more inclined to believe that the Machinist was more pissy about LB not being level 2 and not finishing off the boss with it.

Sometimes when DPS in a raid is FAT (loads of damage being pumped out, trash mobs and bosses melting quickly), I use LB for ghits and siggles when the boss is 5% HP as healer.
