Maybe the guys should take a break from us ?
Work on another project to "relax" a little, get some new ideas etc.
Sometimes it's a good thing to get away from your projects to come back "stronger" ^^
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
Might be tired of answering the same questions over and over perhaps. It is entirely true about raiding and difficulty, raiders want harder content and then some complain so in term they nerf stuff, it is an ongoing thing.
The reason why people would complain about the content if the weapon wasn't there, is because the content isn't very good. It's FATE farming, which is one of the most hated forms of content in the game. It's slightly better than the previous diadem, in that you don't sit in one place and you actually move around, but it's not very good.He seems tired of this hardcore minority wanting to dictate the direction that everyone should go.
To be honest I'd be tired, too. Just go look at Reddit, all the stink over this damn weapon. On the other hand, if he didn't make it worth obtaining, the content would be dead and people would be complaining too. "Tired formula", "stagnation", "failed experimental content", etc.
The points I emphasised are still the case though, even with the presence of the i280. All it's done is momentarily distract people from how shallow Diadem really is. Rather than blindly defending the devs, perhaps you should question why Diadem resorts to the same concept players have said enough times that they don't like (i.e. FATE farming), or why beyond the missions there's nothing of worth from a PvE standpoint unless an EM spawns, effectively encouraging players to AFK in the hopes one will spawn. Perhaps if the devs focused on actually making Diadem itself something worth doing then they wouldn't have felt 'forced' to throw in such a cheap piece of bait like they did.He seems tired of this hardcore minority wanting to dictate the direction that everyone should go.

Only thing Diadem fate farm is good for is the loot that only matters right now. Which honestly all fates everywhere should drop loot comparable to FATE level in the main overworld. But doesn't because reasons. I've gone into Diadem and the gather items aren't exclusive to Diadem to make the trip worth it.
I mainly go with a buddy to turn in spoils for materials to sell on MB as a timewaster. Not really fun or interesting either. If a EM pops you only get one shot to do the fight correctly otherwise it just goes to shit.
Because I'm pretty not the majority of players think that. Diadem is a fine way of spending time goofing around with some friends when you don't want to throw yourself on a raid night or a primal farm for hours. And if an EM spawns, that's where you shift your focus and play seriously.
Besides, what people usually complain about FATE is when they have a specific FATE to do and it takes ages to spawn, that's not the case in Diadem, you can go anywhere to do whatever FATE you want.
Too bad he's tired of a varied community who wants different things. Well breaking news, you did this by purposedly aiming to the highest number of people. So Yoshida in particular, and Square in general, deal with it.
Exactly! They wanted that certain type of player base who weren't really FF fans and now they got them.
The issue here is people complain about how they feel something is stale from an entirely limited scope and fail to provide a solution, or in the very least, a suggestion to bring something new and fulfilling to their own complaint. It's far easier to simply complain than it is to fix.
Honestly, if you don't like it, don't do it. If the DEVs can simply throw something in (like the coven weapons) and it suddenly makes people do it, all they see is a portion of complainers and a larger group of players doing it. It completely invalidates those that say, "everyone hates F.A.T.E.s." Data speaks louder than whiners (and forum posts).

According to data, the mortality rate among humans that have at some point of their life ingested water is 100%.
Therefore, we can deduce that ingesting water is in fact deadly.
Or in other words: Data is only ever as useful as the people interpreting it.
