I wish they would enable crafter/gather weapons that can be glamored, would love to see a PLD whacking enemies around with a Hammer of frying pan.

I can see why they would be against glamouring across weapon types with the current design but what I'd love to see instead would be more joke weapons. We have some brilliant ones like the kettles for MNK (and arguably the brush for BLM), so you could potentially get a similar effect without confusing anyone about your job if they expanded on this idea.
So if I see you in a dungeon with my yukata glamed on my chest piece, you're going to think I'm a Samurai? I'm sorry but what you said here is ridiculous and laughable at best.I would be very much against that. I do not want to see people dressed as chefs in EX Primals or botanists confusing everyone during Diadem. Keep DoL/DoH gear exclusively for them, the potential for mistakes is too high. We shouldn't have to examine people's gear every time to check if they're really DoH/DoL or if they're just glamoured.
I would love the option, though I wouldn't spend money on it. Because of armory chest space and melding pains, I've never really gotten to enjoy DoH/DoL specific armor items - I could just make a glamour that only works on a single class.. Or, glamour that applies to all.maybe if I liked the look of the non-glamoured shared gear more, it'd make sense..

But you know that they're likely to be DoW/DoM in fighting instances. You go to a FATE, Hunt or Diadem & see someone dressed as a Fisher can you *guarantee* they're not just a DoL in the wrong place? Humour glamour, whilst I don't care for it personally, is not a copy of another job in the game. Unless they've added Butler & Chocobo as jobs, that is.
Yes because as someone already stated, actual DoH/DoL gear is locked to them. So if you see someone wearing it and fighting, it's a definite that they are not DoH/DoLBut you know that they're likely to be DoW/DoM in fighting instances. But think about the confussion it would cause! Enter a dungeon and you see a fisher, how could that possible be?! there's no such thing to indicate a player's role anywhere in the UI!

Most DoL/DoH used sets which all classes could equip until relatively recently and nobody was worried by this. Almost nobody uses the JSE because it's too much inventory bloat when everyone wants to omnicraft.

"YOU SHALL BECOME THE MOST IMPRESSIVE DISH I HAVE EVER MADE! NOW HOLD STILL WHILE I CHOP YOU INTO PIECES!!!!"
Or you could go the Toriko route... but honestly a chef with a huge axe screams psycho to me.

I would really like it if SE would allow us a chance to obtain items before adding directly to the cash shop, like they do with seasonal items.
