I would be very much against that. I do not want to see people dressed as chefs in EX Primals or botanists confusing everyone during Diadem. Keep DoL/DoH gear exclusively for them, the potential for mistakes is too high. We shouldn't have to examine people's gear every time to check if they're really DoH/DoL or if they're just glamoured.

No thank you. I'd prefer if people couldn't glamour crafting/gathering gear onto their combat gear...

Great point. It would also be nice if noncombat glamour were removed during combat instances. :-)

ps. If you have done something stupid, that doesn't mean you should continue doing stupid things...
Just my opinion on your argument from my point of view ;-)

It's not stupid. It's fun. For alot of people. Like ALOT of people. I'm not one of those people, in fact I find it silly to glamour a bikini myself! But alot of people find it fun.

I personally would love to wear the clothes. As they are pretty useless as it is currently. No one even wears them.

Exactly what kind of mistakes are you even making in the first place that it's an issue?

The Valentione's set already is this pretty much.

If we were to assume that this gear would be glamour gear, it'd be Lv1, and in any case, the gear states it can only be used as CUL, so whether you had to check if it were glamoured or not, is a non-issue:

Also, where is this argument of confusion coming from?

My Phys Ranged and Healer glamours look nothing like the roles of the jobs they're on:

So this issue of people not looking the roles they're playing or meant to be playing is a non-issue outside of AF gear, and even then with AF gear, that can be glamoured onto anyways.

So if I see you in a dungeon with my yukata glamed on my chest piece, you're going to think I'm a Samurai? I'm sorry but what you said here is ridiculous and laughable at best.
