You don't get it. The majority of the gear a raid drops is also useless if you go by that logic because the current raid tier can easily be done in minimum ilvl requirements. It's a stupid argument. People don't just want to have BiS weapons for raid content. Some people simply want to have BiS weapons because they want to get the most out of the character they are using and then others like me simply want it to have that little edge for when SB comes out. Yes, the weapon will be replaced, yes it will most likely only be BiS for the first 5 or so levels but if it gives me a small edge in leveling speed than it is worth it to me.

You seem to assume that everyone treats BiS the same way, but let me assure you that people have different opinions and reasons for why they want certain gear.

The bottom line is that the current system is unfair. The BiS gear should never, at any point in time, be tied to an rng mechanic. It's an unfair system.

Why some people care so much if someone they don't even know and maybe will never see again in the game, gets a weapon better than the one they dedicated their blood on it? It happens every day, on every server, on every game, at every expansion.

How I have to feel when I see my epic gear, conquered with my blood in epic raids, has been surpassed by the first random green droppen casually on any new area of an expansion? It happens, always.

Now, a new BIS weapon appeared in game. People is IMHO questioning more the method of acquisition than the weapon itself, because that can be got even from the unworthy. Sacrilege! Profanation! That weapon MUST BE only for the high houses, not the commoners, some people screams.

Bad news, guys: that weapon is for everyone.

And, using the same words some high raiders uses to turn down the casuals, "dedication" and "effort", you still have to use dedication and effort to get the weapon. Farm that until you get it. Is it a lottery? Well, that is the BIS weapon, that's the trade off. If you are not for lotteries, you have alternatives for a granted weapon. Your choice. Your game.

But its still bs , they could of provided a means for those whom didnt wana grind anima and where still working on tryin to raid. Instead they created nothing for this game and give out gear that no one needs, and a weapon hardly anyone will get just to make content relevant its very stupid in my opinion this ultimately didn't help anyone and it was just a way to get people to do this content.

There are no alternatives because the 280 is BiS. It wouldn't have been an issue for me if it was 275, with perfect stats even. I feel like you have an irrational hatred for raiders. Some of them may be douchebags but there's also a lot of very helpful raiders that even help casual players get their clears. Why is this community so goddamn hateful towards each other and full of spite instead of working together and pointing out the issues at hand. I have played on both sides of the coin so I am as neutral as it gets regarding this matter. BiS loot should never be tied to rng mechanics. Period.

At this point it doesn't matter if the points are "validated" or not. This arguement has been spewed multiple times on the forum and it's getting to the point that people think it's ok to make a thread like this like its going to magically change things in game. This thread is basically "my past work isn't appreciated so I'm leaving waaaah." Honestly I say good riddance. People whined about diadem gear not being worth it. Now it's worth it....they are still whining. So goodbye to those "threatening" (I still highly doubt you actually will) to leave the game.
