It's usually the other way around, people complaining they get kicked but... had this sprout healer in brayflox nm that would just stand still, tank dying on some pulls. Then we wiped on last boss. I tried to repeatedly explain how it works, like he would need to move out of poison puddles, esuna the tank poison stacks so it's easier to keep him alive but all he did was stand still most of the time, tank and both of us dps kept dying eventually to poison ticks from toxic vomit debuff because he wasn't healing at all, not even the tank. I gave him 7 wipes and explanations, but he didn't even read chat it seems, felt bad but I had to vote kick if we ever wanted to get out of that dungeon ; ;

Ok, I'm running leveling roulette, get tan tara deepcroft. Why why why does the pld proceed to three pull the whole dungeon with two sprouts as the dds??? We got through it thankfully, but...seriously when I all got is two healing spells and you don't even ask??? smh.

Omg this happened to me. I think it was my second time running group content as CNJ? I warned at the beginning I was healer noob, so he took it slow at first. We also had 2 under-geared archer sprouts. I was practicing my stance-dancing and stuff, but I guess he's one of those tanks that thinks healers shouldn't have time to DPS, because after the 2nd mob he was like "I'm pulling big. Try to keep up." And then proceeded to sprint through the whole dungeon, dragging everything. I had to swiftcast a few cures while running to keep him up. D: I'm honestly amazed we didn't all wipe. DPS was awful (with 2 sprouts I expected it to be), so I tried to get a couple Aeros out here-and-there, but his HP dropped dangerously low when I tried (usually when I had to swiftcast another cure LOL), so I was basically a cure spammer for 10 minutes, watching my MP slowly drain towards zero. @_@

After he was like "Dude, you're gonna be a great healer. Half the time experienced ones can't keep me up on a pull like that." I felt no satisfaction, just wanted to go hide in a corner and cry. Spamming cure isn't particularly hard, but MP management and keeping the two sprouts alive in a sea of AOEs is! ;u;

;_; S-Sorry... I feel bad since I've pulled 2-3 groups on low-level dungeons more than a few times myself, including Tam-Tara. I never really thought it was inconveniencing anyone, I just thought it made things feel slightly less monotonous >_< ;;;

haha, I'm sure it can be fun. XD When I'm on my main I've got my abilities down to muscle memory, so it's not overwhelming since I can focus more. After I played WHM a few more weeks I felt a little more prepared for the chaos, but for my second run it was a little extreme LOL.

Had somewhat of a funny moment in a dungeon I did earlier.

Was doing Tam-Tara Deepcroft on my low level healer. We had two sprout DPS.

After the last boss died, the tank decided to impart some last words of wisdom on the two DPS before leaving:

"Please make sure your tank gets initial aggro and is able to securely hold it first before going in all nimbly pimbly".

I don't know why that made me laugh but it did.

i got all the coms on my BLM after sohm al (normal), and i don't know why.

I don't think i was pulling any extraordinary DPS because of how rusty i am (why is the BLM rotation so bloated anyway)

When i asked my fc mates why that might be, they asked: "did you move out of ley lines to avoid a mechanic?"

To which i responded "yeah, many times in fact"

and they answered with "that's why"

It was the day I saw the worst tank. It was 60 lvl roulette, Aetherochemical Research Facility. Miqote warrior as "tank". I am not familiar with war's skills, but it looked like this "tank" did not use ANY enmity-skills at all. He could not hold enmity even of ONE REGULAR MOB. So, ALL mobs and bosses was tanked by me (black mage). Healer was good enough to heal me. 2nd DPS was bard. As soon as we beat last boss we used /laugh in a friendly fashion. It was funny experience.

I had a tank yesterday attempt to do full pulls every time. I say attempt, because they didn't notice that the healer had 9,000 hp compared to the DPS's 13,000 and the tank's 23,000. That poor healer just simply couldn't keep up due to their low ilevel. I actually had to point out to the tank that the healer had low HP, so they might want to do smaller pulls. Hilariously, instead of doing 2 half pulls from then on which is what I meant although admittedly wasn't specific about, he pulled every group singly. At least he stopped trying to pull the whole wad at once, but I got a chuckle out of the two extremes.

Or you happened to get a run with a pre-fab of 3 friends. I often run with FC members and we tend to queue in groups of 3 more often than not the way it works out.

Need to vent because I've never been so aggravated in my whole bloody life.

I've had the worst Stone Vigil run in forever. Had a sproutling tank with the "you don't pay my sub, so don't tell me what to do" attitude right off the bat.

He constantly criticized everyone, but mostly me because I dared to use AoE. And he couldn't keep aggro. And railed at the poor healer, who started off by throwing regen on him before each fight, until I advised healer to stop it. And tank rails at me that it's MY pet who is doing all the pulling. My pet pulls but healer gets all the aggro? And of course, when I reasoned with him, he does a "I've been playing this class for a while, that's what happens, you don't know what you're saying." And you know when someone says that, no advice, no matter how sound, will get through. Took a huge piss on the healer when he dpsed too. Got to the point where I was so annoyed by his constant bitching that I stopped AoEing altogether.

Buddy, if you can't handle tanking with AoE classes around, maybe you should look at a different job instead?
