Please add more short hairstyles

Long hair isn't inherently girly; sure it looks that way on my (fairly girly) character, but a big, manly highlander like Theodric's could rock a long cut and look super masculine. The problem is that the styles we have are very lacking; the Queen style is just hideous from bangs to tips, and that one really long Highlander style they gave everyone has that dumb headband and clips into your back even when shirtless and standing perfectly still.

I'd really like to see more, longer, ponytails with better bangs, myself. But more interesting short cuts would be nice, too.

I never cared much for the longer hairstyles. The clipping is just horrendous on most of the gear I like to wear. But over time, I've become quite attached to the shorter hairstyles and their flexibility, and wish there were more to choose from, especially girly updos. There are quite a few options out there, but most hairstyles look like you've been in a wind storm, and would like something a little more elegant to match the glams I choose. I definitely like my character to look classy and not trashy.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I prefer more long hairs. By long, means LONG. I play Miqo'te, and only have like 2-3 which are really long.

I prefer long hairstyles. That said, there really aren't a lot, by my personal definition.

If the hair is shoulder length, its medium. If it goes down past your shoulders, its long. I think there are... 3... 4... maybe 5 hairstyles that aren't racially locked which fit that criteria out of... what... 30 non-race locked hairstyles?

Need more short hairstyles that look distinct without being caricatures. They added a lot of short hairstyles (like 3 at once in one patch) but they're all kind of... similar and overly simple?. Surely with the reduced polys of a short hairstyle they could do cool stuff like cornrows or textured stuff. I love cuts derplander has in the Stormblood cinematic though.

Isn't there one Male Miqo'te style that has sorta-cornrows? The one with all the braids gathered into a bun on the back of the head? I'm not in-game right now, so I can't check, but I could swear it did. We also have that one 'dreadlock'-kinda style which is female exclusive.

So obviously that sort of aesthetic is possible, but for some reason SE just hasn't implemented many styles using it. Keep asking so they know it's wanted, I guess.

Yah male Miqo'te have it, and it's a pretty good one (if dangly) but it's gender/race-locked.
