Thank your Mogstation purchasers~ They probably were the bulk of the funders.

Hopefully they will be moved away from Level 3's area.
Lol to all the salty Mogstation haters who called it a cash grab and claimed under tinfoil hats that we have no idea where money goes so its evil. Lol, it paid for freedom form Level 3. Go buy all the things!
Now I -really- want SE to bring the Chinese/Korean "Exclusive" mog station items over to the EU and US Mog Station. I always figured, when making a purchase, that it was benefiting the game somehow, but having a firmer confirmation of that, I'm quite open to continuing to make those purchases. There just isn't anything I want right now that is available.
Mind you I don't want them to flood the mog station with stuff either. I'd be happy with new emotes and outfits and mounts being put into the game for people to acquire that way, while we get the Korean/Chinese stuff for a while.
I reserve judgement to this is going to be the most awesome thing in the world. If everyone CAN (not be given) get a house and people no longer pay for retainers because they have need space. If I am not first in starting the "Thank you Cash Shop Overlord" thread I will make sure to repeatedly post in it.
why are you all thanking the cash shop? This is our sub money at work here. Come on people did you not get the memo from the fanfests back then? "For the first time we will reinvest the money that FFXIV makes into upgrading our server infrastructure" We've known this for months! Cash shop purchases only fund cash shop purchases
I vaguely remember that statement but I think I kind of disregarded it because it didn't get any more specific than that. "Upgrading our server infrastructure" is one of those phrases that doesn't really mean anything. They could've added some RAM or improved their backup process or bought glowing decals in the shapes of the server names to stick on the machines.why are you all thanking the cash shop? Moving to a new data center and installing better hardware is a nice juicy specific statement that actually means things to real people.
As people mentioned above, while SE does take a percentage of the Mogstation to pay for the Devs time, a portion for their bottom line, a good chunk of it went to buy the EU and NA DCs. Money well spent, we get pretty items, they get some profit, we get a new DC with better hardware and Internet.
So... SE.... when are you adding some nice hair ribbons and ponytail bows (cheerleader style please)? /hint /hint... I want to help pay for the liberation from L3.
I waste most of my money on Fantasia's on there.. Bought the CEs for the fantasia and the other stuff as "bonuses"..Now I -really- want SE to bring the Chinese/Korean "Exclusive" mog station items over to the EU and US Mog Station.
