    Dancer has been a Final Fantasy job for a few games at least, and it was added into FFXI, which is why I think players want it. It doesn't appeal to me personally, but I don't see a lot of new healer jobs being very interesting. Not unless they added a Psion job or something using telekinesis and telepathy to heal or something. Dancer/Chemist feel a bit too... non-magic for my tastes. But hey, I won't complain if either is added. People like them, and as long a one person enjoys a new job, it was a worthwhile addition to the game.
