Not everyone is able to use voice-chat. Some ppl are mute others like me have broken English if spoken. Chat was our only way to communicate... and how am i able to track everyone in solo to use voice-chat with them? alot of work can be easily avoided if we have chat. I think its a right to everyone to be able to chat in a competitive mode. Can't ripoff or cut ALL people tongues IRL just cuz some curse or lie or whatever. I have seen the worst toxicity in this game at " Dun Scaith " . I swear the worst of the worst toxic chat i read when i went Dun Scaith last week .. I don't get it .. Maybe block 24 man chat as well ?

True story? Because if so, then I'm actually outright with SE. Not only are they apparently okay with violating basic human rights and freedoms, but they have the balls to openly discriminate against a very specific part of the community while doing it. Awesome. At least they wear their corrupted and cold dead hearts out on their sleeves for everyone to see. That's refreshing.

Honestly, I don't think I can support this kind of garbage anymore. Even if it's just in a small part of the community, it's fundamentally wrong. I barely participated in S3 because of this, and I can't in good conscience keep giving money to a company that is okay with such blatantly immoral behavior.

It's disappointing that both the forum moderation and the official responses to PvP/PvE concerns are so inconsistent.

I don't know who's in charge of things, but after all that's happened with this matter alone, I'm legit ready to route this up the chain within SE. Not to see anyone punished or chastised for what's been done, but simply to have someone actually listen to the players.

Reserving the right to be a jackass with a legal disclaimer does not excuse them from actually being one. It also doesn't prevent me from withdrawing my funding and cancelling my subscription, which is well within my rights according to that very same agreement that I accepted when I started playing this game. If SE wants to keep betraying our trust and abusing their authority, then I have every right to wash my hands of them until they can prove that they are a responsible and civilized company.

The problem with the ToS is that it is up to someone's opinion. What is considered harassment?

Some consider it racial slurs, sexual/ethnic/etc harassment, telling someone to kill themselves, etc.

Typically in this game, we see people being reported (and banned) for telling someone that what they're doing is bad. When criticism is seen as harassment (which it is in this game, in droves), there is an issue.

Start a #removechatPvE thread on general if you want this. Because it clearly exists in every part of the game, people are still being banned for saying things in chat, and you can't chat in feast anymore. What a good solution, I'll support your crusade if you really believe this is the solution.

I guess SE is ok with DF sabotage, griefing, MPKing, sitting afk because someone is not getting what they want, pocket healing, buffing one person to pad DPS meters, healer harassing me saying I am afk because they want to full time DPS as a healer, strong verbal abuse though the novice network, calling someone they have crap DPS so they will not heal that person, even when the damage is all unavoidable, micro manage what spells I cast to heal people, Premade kick abusing me at the last boss in dun despite no arguments happening any time before the run, harassing people that do not have the ability to speed run, or in the case in deep, want to collect silvers and not speed run, and yet PvP is the only thing that is changed to fight toxicity.
