[Request] Can we have a Triple Triad NPC at each flag in shatter?

Although I do enjoy when a base afker, sorry I mean "protector" yelps "Incoming at base" and come to find out after your entire team sprints away from their precious ice, the "incoming" was 1 lone SMN and the protector was a PLD. -_-

Never understood the whole "guarding base" thing myself, yeah.

It's AFKing which is legally accepted by Garo players because it looks like a legit reason for not doing anything.

This is a great idea! But it needs to be refined.

First off, in the base area needs to make you invulnerable so as to not disturb the Triple Triad matches. Entering it when an enemy is present will make dramatic music play and the sky darken as you're forced into a Triple Triad Duel with an opponent. The winner gets to live, the loser is sucked into a void portal and dies horrifyingly. The base automatically is yours when there are no more people to challenge your dueling skills left in the area.

I report at the end if I miss them AFKing during the game. Anyone with a score card showing 0/x/0 for damage caused/received/healing. It's simply not possible to cause zero damage if you're fighting. If you're not fighting then you're healing, so that won't be a zero either. If all that has happened in 20mins is that you took damage then you have been AFK/using automated movements.

All jokes aside, keeping your map open removes the need for guarding the base. NINs can't stay hidden and cap a base, and with a map open, you can watch enemy movement, as you should be doing anyways.

Enemies only appear on map if in battle. Once out of battle, they disappear. You won't know your flag is being taken until it's actually gone.

A good NIN will know your movements before you've even took them.
