[DEV REQUEST] Please stop making cash shop items one character only.

Friendly bump for visibility. I still don't get why a few items are account wide, like the Fat Moogle, Bennu and Slepnir mounts, but not everything. I already pay £1.30 extra a month to play alts on my main's server, why can't the alts get the mogstation purchases without me having to pay multiple times? Hardly seems fair.

Now I'm fairly certain most people will at least agree with me that if all of those mounts had both a "single character" price and an "account wide" price, SE could make more profit overall from the cash shop because more people with one character might be willing to pay the price of an account wide mount if it was available at a single character reduced price. Same applies to those with alts unwilling to buy a mount/emote/outfit/etc multiple times.

I'm not saying there aren't people out there with one character who haven't bought an account wide purchase, or vice versa, with alt players buying multiple single character purchases. I'm just saying I strongly believe SE could stand to make more sales if they offered both options.

You know the answer to this tho same reason we are gettin a jump potion and it is simply for money not other reason SE is a business and thats what businesses do.

The purchases in the Mog Station should be account wide I agree with that. SE are greedy. The prices are already high in the Mog Station and they're not even account wide. Shame on you SE.

While jump potion talk makes me stick to my stomach (i don't want it), Yoshida DID say that he is personally in favour of it, and that the dev team are currently 6/4 or 7/3 in favour of it.

I mean, I'd still be a little unhappy about the cash shop being a thing, but having all purchases be account-wide would go a long way toward making me more at peace with the idea. I might even actually buy some of the things I want but can't justify at current prices.

I don't agree that there should be a different, higher price for full account items, though. Many of the items in the shop are priced ridiculously high (the other thing keeping me from making my peace with it), so raising the prices is not really gonna help anything.

I understand that this is a business, but SE really needs to reevaluate their idea of what a digital item is worth, and consider that they'd make a lot more money off them if they weren't expensive enough to make the average consumer wince.

I just joined this game, and I would buy things from the store. I refuse until what I pay for applies to all account characters.
