51+ means faster leveling, once you hit 60 you have an i255 weapon out of the gate. You cant progress and exchange those weapons if all you do is 1-10. Only reason I do PoD: to level up those other jobs.

There's a lot of people still doing PotD for things other than leveling. You're missing my point.

They're guaranteed after you learn it. I'm not taking away savage victories. People work hard, they deserve better. I'm against vertical progression cuz it always renders my gear useless with pretty short bursts of time. I would definitely take savage super seriously if it ment something in the long run.

I personally STOPPED caring about trying so hard when I realized the game was gonna stay vertical. Now I just treat glamour like horizontal progression aka the end game.

You are talking as if the Anima was a good glamour. Anima weapon looks bad compared to Relic. Diadem is just a slap in the face to people that grinded for Anima. Not only they get an ugly weapon, but it's not even the best anymore.

Not really. Some of us like to collect gear regardless of the grind. Plus Anima will be a good start up point for the next set of relics for Stormblood..... Something that you cannot do with Diadem Wep....

My classes were all 60 when PotD was released. I still ran it a ton for tomes, mounts, minions, and fun.

I personally plan to continue my relic progression. My *ONLY* wish? That come Stormblood we could just continue upgrading it as we leveled, not have to wait until lvl 70 to exchange it for the next relic line (and I don't care if someone else can start their lvl 70 relic without having this one.)

With more people running Diadem this will have an impact on light farm parties and every other parts where gear is an incentive, savage after lockout remove, roulettes, light farm, as well as almost every other content regularly done for gear.

And it's great for you, that's why diadem drops ilvl 280 weapons. Is for people like you (and that's not bad, I'm not here to judge what people likes or dislikes). But most of the people that don't like that felt a bit salty.
TBH, I don't care i was going to unsub this next week until stormblood. Diadem didn't give me any reason to continue since it's the same as the last time, but with a 1.39% chance to get a better weapon than everyone else.
What bothers me about diadem is that the content is the same as before, it didn't change for better. And the ilvl 280 is just a carrot so people won't unsub from now until Stormblood.
