no once forces u to farm a 280 weapon 24/7 until u freak out and get burned out , why not just do it like 2-3 per week and be happy with what u have? :P
theres probably also other items that u can get inside :P
Thats a hell of a carrot on a stick!
My alts are gonna be stronk.
I'm buying some salt for when I see someone posts in reddit/forum a high accu/crit/det/sks roll a few hours after the server goes up.![]()
No secondary stats huh? That means a 280 is worse for most classes & does not beat out the Anima.
Oh wait...13 more main stat too? That actually puts in on par with most Animas. Tanks however are getting screwed as the WD + main stat heavily outweighs any secondary.

its ok ill have more people to group with who are desperatly trying to get a weapon , wich means i can get my pegasus mount :P
You can't really consider those people... as.. people can return at any point of the game..its still the final cycle....whats your point?
People still progress for various reason. Some can't build a static, some took a break and just returned, some just pug... not everything is tied to performance.
Wasn't necessarily talking about savage progression as much as I was talking about people doing relics.
With some of the mentality around here of "well its just going to be replaced in stormblood anyway" you would get the impression that theres not point to even play the game at all if everything is eventually replaced.
General cycle is about 6 months, so should probably consider the cycle to be near it's end and and Alex Savage being unlocked soon.
And what other progression is there besides savage really? I'm still on umbrite for my relic personally lul
that kind of progression is not gonna go away, despite being outdated now, but relic/anima is always only up to date for a short time anyway.
And yea! i guess you could just quit and stop and come back and not miss out on much progression-wise.
But that is also a given at any even numbered patch anyway. Just buy new gear, done.
You could do alex savage in 250 gear, and it's the hardest content.
some of you need to calm down a bit. We all know the random factor will make those weapons hard to get.
we have no clue often those emergency missions will happen. we have no clue how hard the bosses will be.
unles you enter with a full pt and everyone is ok with standard (or lootmaster) rules, you'll have to deal with greed only. Everyone will roll on everything.
Even if a weapon is guaranteed as drop, it's still a 1 of 13 chance to get the weapon you need. and then you have to deal with the random sub stat system.
You can farm diadem all day and night but might not get the weapon you want. and ya we know there will be this guy, that has know clue about his job that will rock the 280 weapon...
on top of all of that all that weapon will do is giving you something for leveling in stormblood. it's not needed for anything in the game atm.
It still makes sense for now. Even with all the "Freebies" it still takes months for casuals and midcore player to fully gear a job up to i270.
The weekly lockout removal, nerfs and echo for Creator(Savage) are likely coming in 3.56 towards the end of the month.
Heck the deeper areas which drop the i280 weapons might even be tuned for groups in full i270.some of you need to calm down a bit. We all know the random factor will make those weapons hard to get.
