2000 mentor roulettes, my son.

So who the fuck is bitching about Mentor rewards, 2k roulettes? I can only imagine the amount of time that would take, I've been playing for 6 months and I leveled all the classes to 50 (exept the one I did MSQ with) nearly exclusively via dungeons, and also plenty of dungeons done for all the classes I have at 60 (7 so far) and I still haven't racked up 1000 dungeons... if you can get 2000 mentor roulette you not only deserve the mount but it should also be able to do your laundry, make you breakfast every morning and be able to do Coffee on the go.

"Remove mentor rewards" get out of here whoever does that deserves it.

I wanted to became a mentor for the DR:mentor since I figured 1 more roulette, more exp for me to level my other classes.

GD is becoming a grave yard for threads where people complain about mentor activity. It's not appropriate and it's frankly boring.

If you think someone was dismissed wrongfully, report them in game.

Whining about it on the forum will change nothing.

It's like people create these threads expecting the entire forum to grab their pitchforks and demand that the mentor in question is reprimanded via the forum. It doesn't happen.

Yeah some lore, and I forget what else. I know you get Gil if you do it more after getting the daily reward

Yep, I remember my friend kicking a new tank because he did not say so till wiping on ozma and had several opportunities to help. The breaking point was from his HP, losing LB3 then being toxic to my friend who was questioning them on why they Hped and other things, vote passed easily.

I've been randomly kicked by mentors before simply because "lol ninja trash class" or "healer isn't using *insert high level ability here* in Copperbell Mines". Are there insufferable A-holes? Yes. Does the system need a revamp? Definitely.

At the same time making threads about the bad eggs doesn't really solve the issue as a whole. Biggest issue is how easy it is to acquire the crown. It would be nice to see a system where you hit level cap and you get newbie chat for your job(s) and can only reply via whispers to the new player directly.

Maybe newbies should band up and vote kick mentors right off the bat if this keeps going on (mentors can't be jerks if they're removed).

I can tell by this post that you're a beautiful human being with a pure soul.

What the hell, what about the rest of us who sit down and explain mechanics in dungeons when no one else can be bothered to? What about us who activeely defend the new players because they messed up and tell them not to give up, what about us?
I don't go in dungeons TO BE a mentor, I don't create party finders for that reason, that's a stupid idea. But if you're a newbie and end up with me in a duty I'm going to tell you what to do.

WHAT THE HELL did we do to deserve this hate? Spending every 24 man raid trying to explain the strategy to half the alliance (when nobody else wants to) AND keep the dps up only to be kicked without warning? Stop fueling the mentor hatred, you're not helping anyone, unlike us.

There's an implication here that this only happened because the person was a mentor. I would suggest it happened because the person was a jerk. There's no test when you become a mentor for whether or not you're a decent person. You're supposed to be able to report a mentor that behaves like that.

I agree with Wilan..this is really turning more and more into mentor bashing on this forum. Now we should be kicked out of dungeons or even have our right to vote kick taken away just because there are bad apples out there? There is a report function in this game, if you feel like someone was misusing his position than report them. I just dont see the need to open one thread after the other about a bad mentor..while at the same time there are probably enough mentors out there that are really helpful. I always try to help in dungeons, if I remember the mechanics, I alway try to be patient if someone wipes us again and again..but at the same time I barely feel like wearing the crown anymore since people seemingly cant understand that not everyone is a bad one..that its only a handful of them but they will stay in your mind longer than the good ones.

(And lets not forget that none of us where there other than the OP. There must have been a reason if the person was kicked, since it takes more than one person to do that. Heck we dont even know what exactly did happen..)
