People factor the very fact that it's a "limited time bundle" into their decision to buy it. If in the end SE was gonna walk back on that and say "Actually it wasn't exclusive, we were gonna sell the minion separately later", then that diminishes the value of the purchase.

It'd be a pretty scummy thing to do to the original purchasers.

If, in the future they want to list future bundled items as "advanced access", or "time-limited exclusivity", then I'd have no problem with them selling THOSE minions on the MogStation, but as they didn't do that to the original items, I oppose the OP.

Except this is also a limited time bundle, and a very special one at that. Items can be in multiple exclusives and still retain their value, the only difference is that if you already have your minion, it won't factor in your buying of this limited time bundle.

Mogstation will diminish their value however.

Yea I think it just a rumor, I did a search on google and couldn't find anything about it.

Quite, especially if they're the sort to put the code for the minion up on E-Bay a few months/years later for a couple hundred dollars. A, "pretty scummy thing to do," to those who want the minion as well as Square Enix. I may or may not be correct in presuming SE has a No Re-Sale clause for purchases like that.

Regardless, I'd rather SE was making money off of its assets rather than scalpers jumping on those, 'One Time Bundles.'

All of the codes expire, CDs, statues, plushes- all of it. Also, all the items are just listed as having a bonus code- nothing "limited." It's literally we will send you a code for this as many times as there is adequate demand for it until these codes are set to expire. They don't even say they won't ever run them again.
