Maybe people should tone down the salt a bit? So SE changed its mind on something. Last time I checked that is generally a GOOD THING in games, when the Devs can go, "Well, maybe we were wrong to think this way." Is it vexing that the emote is locked behind $7? Certainly. But just being so upset about the change is more likely to make SE go, "Well, players are complaining, this was a terrible idea, let's scrap our plans to let them /doze and lay down anywhere. They clearly didn't want us to change our position on the matter of laying down persistent emotes. It was indeed a small number who wanted it. We listened to the vocal minority this time, lets not do that again."

Unless they are complete and utterly daft, they would realize that the complaints are targeted at the emote being pay-locked, not at it being implemented in the first place, so if they were to reconsider anything as a result of the complaints, it would be the pay-lock. Except they really don't care one bit, so they're not going to reconsider anything at all.
Truly, they can easily gauge interest by sales and are probably currently in the process of pondering what other highly requested emotes and features they can put up for 7$. Quickly browsing XIVDB shows that at least Aymerics armor and hair as well as the Heavens Ward armor, some Wukong/Monkey King items and Zephirins sword are on the way - not that that's surprising anyone at this point. I just wonder why they delay releasing it to the store.

While I never intended to create such ... hostility it wouldnt matter it I had the mogstation one as its not quite what I meant, I meant the literal been able to lay on my back on the roof of the house or a house looking up at the stars or sky above. Which should technically eliminate any unwarranted use. However I suspect it would actually depend HOW a house is implemented in each instance, as it just may simply not be possible in which case well I had an idea one rather slow Sunday.
