When I am standing in fire in wow on my screen I am taking damage when i am not standing in fire on my screen on wow I am not taking damage, I understand what you are referring to about internet connection but it is more than that for FFXIV.

Its amazing internal testers didnt catch it but then again look at what was released to us last Sept I guess they didnt catch a lot of things.

She did say FFXIV does not handle these things the same way as FFXI and the other games.

Yep, it's because of internal design on FFXIV, since in FFXI for example, you can avoid every breath attack from Wyrms by being on their sides (never the tail, unless you like spike flail.) This is why they're doing new servers, because internally, it's just screwed up lol.

I told you forget FFXI. Look at FFXIV only. Watch the video there is your proof it exists. It existed before the game hit retail and it still exists today. What proof are you looking for?

It's also a top priority of the dev team as outlined in the roadmap to 2.0. The fix is not an easy one to implement and it's currently being worked on. That is the best that we can hope for at the moment.

I thought we moved past the decade thing when I said I concede it wasnt game breaking in FFXI. However if its only an FFXIV issue its been an issue for somewhere between 3 and 6 years and will continue to be for atleast another year.

You don't get it, do you? The servers don't run on the same technology or underlying code. As such, it's not the same issue.

My point of 3-6 year is this game has been in development/testing/retail for somewhere between 3 and 6 years and this issue has and still does exist and will for atleast another year.

It is hard for me to have faith SE will get it right for 2.0s release when they have had this issue for 3-6 years and still choose to sell it to me this way.

What's your point? The only thing I see that's weird is the tank being flung off the circle. It doesn't affect me, I'm a CNJ, I just click on his name on the party bar to cure him.
