Looking at Aether, only 6 people on the party board were illegitimate by SEs point of view (though about 12 were engaged in forms of mild exploiting).

Solo queue had at least 3 make it on top 100, and one of those was even #10.

I can understand the thing about exclusive reward even if i think season should be shorter.
More season with the same reward but shorter. just because some players with less skill can't afford to fight for 4 months i think.

Also there nothing similar in pve, everything in pve reward is with times nerfed, so what make you special to begin is got easily later.

And realy i can't blame players to want to protect the exclusive reward of the feast, i don't have the reward but i think it should stay exclusive.
But if there too much players complaining about this, you know the song.
See what happen when Hardcore players ask harder raid and midcore players saying it's too hard.
SE priority is to keep the majority of the players base and certainly don't wich massive unsub. So SE will not listen only to the hardcore.

I'd feel pretty proud of myself if I had to grind out 4,000,000 wolf marks for one of the 4 mounts. Let alone all 4.
