Seasonal Items Still Missing from Mogstation (Square IPs Only)

Dev team/mods,

We're still missing some much older minions from the Mogstation that are SE IPs, such as:

- Wind-up Brickman
- Wind-up Shantotto
- Dress-up Y'shtola
- etc.

I don't expect to see non-IP minions, such as YoKai, on the Mogstation, but the older event SE minions would be appreciated for minion collection completion. A nice-to-have, but unlikely re-admission to the game, would be the Wind-up Bahumut and the Wind-up Dalumud.

I know, this is a Mogstation request, which is going to be on the same front page as the anti-Mogstation thread. I strongly dislike new content being added to the Mogstation before it's available to the player base, but these minions were seasonal that some missed - an appropriate use of the Mogstation.

Seasonal items are generally added 1 year later when the event comes around again.
Dress-up Y'shtola was from the Rising 2016 so we should see it on the shop when the Rising comes again this year.

Even though SE owns DQ and XI there are still licensing issues since different people work on the games. We eventually got the Lightning Returns items on the cash shop due to fan demand so it's possible they may bring the XI and DQ stuff back if enough people request it.

I mean, you'll probably still get some hate, but even being anti-cashshop I feel these are perfectly reasonable requests. Old event items are what the cash shop should be used for, if SE really wanted a peaceful and content community.

There's probably some legal foolishness responsible for the DQ items not showing up yet, even though it's the same company...does SE publish it in all regions? Most of the recent games have been on Nintendo systems, so they may hold some of the rights. I'm sure there's a big difference, legally, between giving an item away and selling it for profit, so maybe that's where the snag is.

There's also the various items associated with the maid/butler attire promotion. Many European players either didn't get a promotion in their country or they did and it was incredibly awkward/contrived compared to the simplicity of the Japanese and North American promotions.

This is something I feel Square should definitely weigh in on, as I was an NA player when the event was in place (coincidentally, it made my decision to preorder Pokemon Sun all the sweeter) and it's definitely a shame that our friends in other regions weren't given an opportunity to take advantage of it. Could the Community Team weigh in on this as to whether plans are being discussed to (at the very least) bring these items to the Mog Station?

You poor thing, you know that if they add that to the cash shop, it'll be at least $30.

Wind up Shantotto and wind-up brick man were not seasonal items though...

On the other hand, we did get the lightning items added due to popular demand so if enough people ask for it, it's possible. Personally, I'd rather not see limited event items be put on CS unless some legacy items get the same treatment just to be fair to all players, and rather not see items from preorder/early access, fanfest, and physical merchandise be added at all, and this is coming from someone who doesn't have those minions. Because if they were added, there's be very little incentive to purchase those things, and the players who did would feel cheated.

That was one of the few items they said would never be available again, like the White Ravens, or Legacy Chocobo.

If SE doesn't have a set schedule it would be nice to have one, just for player consistency - 1 year after content it WILL be on the shop, for example. (I don't pay close enough attention to the shop to know if that's true or not lol).

Also random gripe, they should make the achievement purchasable (if they already do, it doesn't look like it but cool lol). So if you buy the achievement you can get your stuff from the calamity salvager.

I felt so bad for EU players during that promotion. Especially the areas that had to subscribe to a magazine - like, a real, physical magazine. I don't even know how (print) magazines are still in business with the internet. Books are a different story.
