Doesn't really matter how many people show up. The fact remains if they made it in time you could too. There is no such thing as early pulling and all arguments against so called 'early' pulling just smack of self entitlement.

Well, actually, before I get a real PC, maps overpopulated for a NM or big fate took 2 to 3 min to load and the mob in question died before I even finish to load. On the rare cases it finally loaded and I could still reach it in time, I was waiting for the game to make the mob appear on my screen so that I can aim it, but it seems making player appear is more important.
At least now that I got a real PC I insta load and doesn't have trouble on the mob spawn.

The people who camp/spawn FATEs get the item(s). People sitting in their houses usually don't. Such is life on Balmung.

Funny you should mention that. I was in my apartment when the FATE Ama is complaining about popped. I teleported in and got there (which entailed flying from the west side of the zone all the way to the east edge; not a short distance) before the pull. As did the rest of my party, none of whom were in Azys Lla when it came up.
I mean... yeah it would be grand if people were more patient. But getting there on time is far from impossible.
