Healer dps is not a crime and it shouldn't be disabled in instances like you claim. If you are just going to stand around healing the tank every bit his/her hp drops that's just not taking full advantage of a healer's true prowess. You are free to play how you want but this thread idea is just silly in itself as are your comments and other comments. I don't care how you play but please don't put the idea up that healers should be able to choose between healing and dps exclusively. Healing is more than just healing. Stance dancing is a thing that is important in raids and contributing to dps makes runs go faster. I understand you enjoy the more relaxing environment of healing. As an AST main myself, I contribute to healing as I am a main healer but I also do dps a lot because I like to make myself useful. If I am standing around doing nothing but spamming the occasional benefic on the tank.... it is not showing that I'm an AST main that takes advantage of every ability. Switching stances really isn't hard and PROMOTES a more active environment in endgame because it keeps the mood going. Sorry, but cleric stance won't be removed and it will never be because the only people that have a problem with it are people that scream "It's my sub and I play how I want" and those that don't know how to take advantage of a true healer main.
Thank you very much for your post but wonder if you actually read mine. Your entitled to your opinion ofc, but my views may differ. You will get lots of likes for that.Healer dps is not a crime and it shouldn't be disabled in instances like you claim. This isn't about getting likes madam. I was simply analyzing the way I play a healer which I think is the best way. Your views differ but be aware that you'll be called a lazy healer if you decide to play like this.
Then you need to assess the situation better. I'm not saying mistakes don't happen, but the mistake happened because you were in cleric at the wrong time, not because cleric stance is broken.
Yes thats true and maybe I relied on my co healer which is what you also need to do also to a certain extent, if they are not in cleric and only the tank taking damage, but you cant rely on co healer sometimes and that is often why I sometimes start to dps then change to healer because sometimes co healers refuse to solo heal, or cant and Im only saying if we just get rid of cleric and make dps auto intell, then healer doesnt have to rely on so many factors, giving a little more control back to the healer. Unless your saying that this doesnt happen to the very best of players because they know exactly when to do it in all cases

I was just curious when I asked the question above why people dont agree that cleric takes precious seconds off your time when you need to heal fast.
If you are in Cleric, taking it off takes no time at all. Putting it on at the wrong time is the mistake people make. I always make sure that I'm either in Cleric stance before damaging mechanics happen so that I can easily take it off if needed, or don't go back into it if something is about to happen in the next 5 seconds. It's about anticipation and preparation. I also don't look out for stupid, if people take avoidable damage when I'm not expecting it and die because of it, that's on them.
If you always default into Cleric stance when people hit 95-100% HP, it's easy to quickly turn it off again when the need for a quick heal rises, it's much harder to NOT be in Cleric and try to pop in and out of it.
Yes true as well putting it on wrong time if I press wrong button its omg! But two buttons, cleric off retarget heal is maybe the time of a heal, could be wrong but it does take timeIf you are in Cleric, taking it off takes no time at all.
