They didnt have time with proper implementation cos they were busy adding overpriced emotes and things into cashshop.

No. It's just the battle was with 24 people at fanfest. It was never officially said to be a trial.

Nope, but the Fanfest version was a 24 man trial pretty much, hence the title, but i can't change it now lol.

I stumbled upon it accidentally... it is disappointing if that's all it is. Just pick up the quest in Illdy.
