Seperate inventory space for crafters & fighters

Im a multigamer and I love to both Fight once in a while and Craft. I don't like to have to be forced to run to a retainer every single time to get one item I need... Even then not everyone can pay to have more then 2 retainers. Mine are full of crafting materials... But even my own inventory is filled to the brim and I still don't carry all the materials I need.

So I suggest making a seperate inventory space (that is as big as the normal inventory) so I can carry all my crafting materials, potions and items with me at all times. Retainers will not lose their function as they are needed for market sales in the first place.

It would be lovely to craft something on the spot, no matter where I am.

with the expansion of the inventory, hopefully they decide to do something more than just giving us more slots.

While I wouldn't argue with more space, as a crafter I think I would just welcome the chance to be next to a retainer bell or just in town and have that count as in my inventory. Basically as long as my mats are in the retainer, I can craft it and not have to stop every few mins to pull more out or cus I miscounted.

I don't believe adding new inventory space would require the DEV team to invest much work or time on it so why not add it? As I recall there's allready a seperate bag for quest items.. so why not add a seperate bag for crafting items... or increase the size of the allready excisting inventory?

They are adding more inventory space with the next expansion.

oh? are we talking normal inventory here or armor inventory? Because if you want to use all classes at the same time and they aren't 60 yet then you run out of room for (example) rings..
So they might be dealing with just that problem.

Are you sure they will increase ALL inventories?

Judging from the picture, it seems they will be working on both the armoury chest, and the inventory.

So yeah, safe to say we'll see some increased slots for both, or maybe a new system that will give us more slots than normal.

GW2 had a crafting material tab which was pretty cool, all crafting materials went there, didn't take up your normal inventory space, and made it super easy to manage.

Would make my life so easy as well :3. Would be interesting if you could be next to the market board and purchase items while in the sit down position. Oh I'm out of Moogle Turds, right click purchase - opens up Moogle Turd page and you can choose to buy them or not and it simply returns back into crafting. If I had to choose one of course pull from retainers, but it would be amazing to be next to the bell and board and be able to get every crafting desire done without having to rummage through 40 different menus.
