See, it IS about other people having the title, and the distribution of that title somehow taking away the value of yours. That's what this ALWAYS boils down to when it comes up in a game. Whatever the game, whatever the content, people place value on exclusivity, and they get jollies out of other people not having the things they have.

The problem is that the value of things like this are completely subjective to the person who has them. For some, the value is in that it means they did a hard thing. In this case, nothing changes when unsynced happens. They did the hard thing, and nothing can change that. For you, the value is in that it means other people can see you did a hard thing. It's not about the challenge. It's about SHOWING OFF the challenge and wanting acknowledgement of it. For me? If I had the title, my value in it would be that it sounds cool.

Different people value such things differently.
