Why You Love DPSing As A Healer

Also stance dancing keeps my attention up during dungeon runs, and it simply means that I'm playing the healing role in this game as intended by SE

I started out wanting to be a Summoner but the queues were intolerable. I then tried a friend's suggestion of going Scholar to level up quicker & fell in love. It's not too different from SMN but I get to heal too! WHM is boring to me as it seems to have too many heal spells (in my opinion) to the detriment of damage spells. AST is, well, let's not go there, maybe the Sect changes have helped but I've not revisited it. SCH is where I feel comfortable, it's a DPS job that can heal so it seems more balanced in solo & party combat.

I like to play my WHM. Stunnig a whole bunch of enemies with holy feels so good. Using holy without cleric stance just for the sake of the stun effect is a waste of mp

What I personally enjoy in regards to DPSing as a healer is how much more active it is compared to sitting there waiting for people to take damage. I like something more active and engaging. Else, it's rather boring to me, gameplay-wise.

I like to not be bored, I mean if you watch me play( I use a controller) you'll see me fingers pressing buttons like I'm trying to set a world record and I love it lol. I can heal and dps, I get really excited when I get aggro not from healing but from spamming Gravity lol

Because I have it burned into my head that if I don't. I'll be labeled as bad and lazy healer.

I find that funny, cos of my experience but somehow, a little sad if that is the right word. So you have to enjoy dps cos you dont have any choice.

Please don't come into this thread to be passive aggressive about healer dps. There are pages and pages and PAGES of that in the other threads. I'm pretty sure OP was trying to bring some positivity regarding healer dps to the table.

Yeah... have to say for me it's because it's part of the meta, not from actual enjoyment. If I really loved DPSing there's no shortage of jobs to play dedicated to that...

Holy and Gravity can both be pretty satisfying to use, though.

Same. I only DPS because just vanilla healing is so unengaging as to be intolerable.

No the agression isnt from from peopel here and tbh that was a genuine statement from me at least, you are the one coming here with your orders
