it's not a problem on server end - it's in the route your data takes to the server - somewhere along the way there is loss. If your route goes through Level3 you may want to try a VPN. try a free service out first and see if that helps.

I just wanted to pop in and say that since the last patch I too have been having these problems. Before the patch, no issues. Now randomly in PoTD or in the new Expert Roulette I will start lagging terribly. Sometimes it'll clear up and I can progress or I will get disconnected. It happens only once a day. My fiancé and I both play on the ps4, he is also experiencing it. We use ethernet. Hopefully we can figure out what's up here...
just to note. I've been playing Ghost Recon Wildlands all night without so much as a hiccup.
Wildlands is running flawlessly.
ummm, try to run a PING test an post the results here.
1-in a windows PC open the CMD(run as administrator)
2- Type in ‘PING <IP Address>’ if you play NA server this is the IP 184.107.107.176( PING 184.107..107.176)
post back the results an lets see whats going on.
I don't know what is causing your issue exactly but I think it would have to be something to do with your signal from your ps4 to the server where you're lagging out like that. The issue could be on SE's end, I play on ps4 and I haven't had this issue. Before I upgraded to the ps4 I was on the ps3 and on occasion had the issue.
Problems like this have occurred with SE in the past and seems to bounce around between individual accounts. Contact SE to report a big and explain you had your internet checked and that your lag issues are not anywhere on your end, also tell them other online games work and run perfectly fine. I've had to do this in the past with ff XIV as well as on ff XI
Yep. The PS4 wireless card is garbage. When I upgrade to the Pro .. All those issues went away. It could be always hardware driven because the PRO has more RAM and Processor to it.
I don't think my ps4 is a pro I would need to check the box I had just recently upgraded from my ps3, I also have my ps4 hard wired to my net.
Stupid idea, you tryed to delete and redownload the game? Might fix it, though I should warn you of the small chance of the game being completely unplayable because of a download bug
Like 90% of the lagg is not from your ISP or SE servers but the traffic it use to get there.
Post here the ping result an we can find the problem.
CMD》 ping <server ip>
