Proto Ultima - The first 24 Man Trial

There were rumors about Proto Ultima being a 24 Man Trial, as well as the 24 Man Trial being exclusive to Fanfest.

But it is now confirmed to be a 24 Man trial on the updated 3.55 page.

Pretty sure that they said during the 3.55a coverage at Frankfurt that Proto-Ultima will drop ALL accessories.

Fingers crossed that they have nice stats to make me give up on some hold-out 250 pieces.

Think you might be a little to late with no spoilers as there was a post of a all tank group taking it down. Granted it was only 8 man and they had less than 1 sec when cleared but from the screenshots in the links the mechanics appear to be the same from the 8 man version.

If it's all accessories, BiS on all Jobs will probably take a big hit.

The main thing is if it's a weekly drop, and if it's Savage-like drops, get chest, try gain next week.

I never really liked the Ultima theme, I hope the music for it is a remix of Maker's Ruin! Looking forward to getting more 270 accessories as well, I've complained about the ring lockout several times before. I'll farm this fight for some 270 rings then I'll probably stop.

Whether they change it for live I'm unsure of but at the fanfest it was exactly the same as the previous Ultima fights was a very fun fight though.
