Square Enix, please look at this thread before you jump the gun and actually start working on under wear garments. You'll be wasting your time with it when you could be working on what we actually want.

Listening to someone doesn't mean you have to carry it out. Something people forget.
They have probably decided that they want them to stay unique to the races rather than have then available to all races.
There was an issue early on in FFXI and during Treasures of Aht Urgahn expansion during a fan festival players made numerous inquiries about certain equipment items referring to them by name. Every time it was brought up developers scratched their heads finally one asked an interviewer asking about it if he knew the items ID code, at that point the community had a huge D'oh moment, the items in game are localized. They are given names in our language the developers do not know what those names are, the fact that our dev's are players does not help the issue as the items are not the same in their language unless you walk up to Yoshi and point at what you are talking about he would never know.
Once we knew to give them ID Numbers all kinds of stuff became available, not to mention we got gear that looked better as they figured out what kind of things we liked to dress up in. Suggestion, to them the Hempen and RSE sets are Alternate underwear, or base gear, that is what it translates to, find out what the items code is and say this this here we want this!!!

This was not the onliest question Yoshida was off topic.
There was also the question, why regular instances and ex primals are getting more and more easy. Yoshida was just talking about the raid. But this was noit the question.

Your post is irrelevant to the thread, obvious troll is obvious.
That's 6 sets of gear they have to tweak 5 times each. This is a dev team that struggles to make two headpieces (Bunny Crown) available to all genders in a timely fashion.
If we want to be paranoid about it, they have probably slowly started working on it, I'm sure they'll announce in next liveletter they plan to add it in4.04.1
They don't look like just underwear though. It's hard to find examples of all the males, but here's miqo'te and elezen.
Miqo'te get a sort of crop top (for lack of a better word) and elezen get sleeves. Hyur midlander get a tank top. All three may be "underwear" but could easily be put with other types of gear that adapt it to being more like outerwear.
Maybe I'm incredibly stupid but how is it underwear if I can wear it as a top?
I have three Legacy accounts, a full priced fourth account and level 60 jobs with multiple characters on each account. I also have my name in the credits aswell as my brothers (irl names) and one of an alt character. I like it locked, should i get preferential treatment? All I know is this, to people who are arguing on here:
1: I pay close to around $200 on this game. It's for owning 8 retainers, and for 180 days of subscription. I do it, because my girlfriend and I take joy in controlling 100% of our server's markets for end-game gear/tools/weapons.
2: After paying so much, (my girlfriend pays the same thing by the way) you'd think the game developers would appreciate not only me, but the rest of you who pay subscriptions that keep their jobs alive.
3: I dunno about some of you, but if I'm paying for an online game, you best believe I will speak out when I see bugs/errors, or if I see things that can be improved.
4: If you enjoy "taking it from the rear" while, by the way, you are paying for this, then that's all you, I guess. Though people like me aren't, so get over it.
We want hempen sets to be race unlocked, and they clearly read these forums. So we will make sure it happens.
