Should healers now be allowed to play how they choose to play?

Healers are designed to heal, not DPS. If parties want more DPS then talk to DPS players about it. Because if I am joining as a healer, I heal and that's it.

It's not being "lazy" as some ignorant people call it, it's playing the role the chose to play, period.

it is lazy if you end up standing around doing nothing as it was already pointed out by others. you are not better than the ice mage or the lv60 brd without WM or the smn that only puts up dots with tri disaster, or the "heavy thrust"-less drg, the futon-less nin or even the 100% deliverance war.

not using your skills as they are meant to is ignorant.
