On a scale of 1 - 10, how happy are you so far with Stormblood news?

6, I'm eager to try the RDM and see the new raid, but I think something is missing. I still wish they would do 2 raids instead of 1, WoW has so many raid for one expansion, I envy them. Here we can just do the same raid every week until 2 patch later for 4 more bosses, whereas WoW has many raids of 5-6 or more bosses each.

They have mentioned the possibility of adding a real Savage mode in the past, like Second Coil Savage, on top of what we currently have.
And they brought it up again in FanFest's Q&A.
"Content is too easy, can you make it more difficult?"
"Maybe people who beat the last turn of raiding content will get access to something new, but don't complain if it's too hard"

Can't tell if it's just a single additional fight or a savaged version of the whole raid.
However, there's hope for something to be added at least!

Probably because its hard to connect Ala Mhigo to Doma conceptually and we have seen a lot more of Doma than Ala Mhigo. They have only actually shown us one zone in Doma and it looks to be the starting one with Rhalgr's Reach in it. Ala Mhigo's story has been building since literally 1.0 so there is a fear it might get glossed over, particularly after the anticlimax to the 2.55 events that we got in HW.

It doesn't help that the character art they showed at the end showed at least 4 characters who were clearly Doman and only 2 we are sure are related to Ala Mhigo.

They have said it will be 50%/50% but the way they have presented information makes it look skewed towards Doma.

Well.. Ala Mhigo is tiiinyy on the map, i don't see why people would be so excited and expect that much out of it :|

Ala Mhigo was one of the core city states of Eorzea and was at one point strong enough to take on an alliance of all the others. It's also a major part of the ongoing story and the very core of Yda and Raubahn's stories. More to the point, they promised that Ala Mhigo would have a deep story in the expansion at the first fan fest.

That is why.

Doma is a distant background thing. Honestly currently I think visiting there will be interesting and it looks beautiful but narratively it holds far less interest to me than Ala Mhigo. The only significance it has is that Yugiri is from it.

9/10 for the classes - Samurai, from what we have only learned so far, sounds similar to ninja, so its tempering my hype for a little, but not much. Want to learn about it before making my ultimate decision on whether rdm or sam will be what I level.

10/10 for the world - I don't even know what is going to be in the world, but if heavensward only gave us another slice of Eorzea, I can only imagine how much more space we are getting from this expansion and its patches.
