Here is the problem with these types of post, they lack any concrete evidence. Every time I have seen one of these its blatantly calling out someone who is ASSUMED to be doing something wrong based off of what? Being the same match? one heals more than the other? They are from our server on Faerie? How do we know they are not alts of someone from Gilgamesh? That's the point, we DON'T, and the only way to convict them is to find admission of guilt, in game communications, or something alluding to them tipping each other off or working together. Which would be hard in solo to prove. Your from Team Tryhard, they run a pvp discord, and when any of you notice anything strange you don't like, your go and tell everyone in there to mass report, that is actually witch hunting. I am sure SE does what they can, but its not as simple as just banning who they THINK might be doing something, if our judicial system worked that way, omg. Let SE do their job , if you don't like it, don't play.

What's really sad is that SE says they taking cheating and win trading seriously. Yet we've reported people like this and others many many times. No matter how many people we get to report from our community nothing gets done. I honestly can't take the Feast rankings seriously anymore after this season.

It's pretty disheartening. I'd love to get more heavily involved in PvP but actually getting something started is difficult. Mostly because a lot of people agree that it's a niche activity laced with blatant win trading and very little is done to stop it. Furthermore it affects Lords of Verminion and Triple Triad tournaments. The same people trade wins on Balmung every tournament and again nothing is done about it. So it's little wonder why those two activities aren't seeing much in the way of player activity.

Both are used by players of XIV, to execute a means which said user deems acceptable, and Square-Enix really doesnt do anything about.

So, i'm pretty sure as long as you can justify using a parser, these people can justify using what they are.

But that is NOT your job, that is not Try Hards job, your not on payroll and nobody told you guys to do it. Telling people to mass report, and people who haven't even played a match with these people go and report them, that's the real BS. The problem starts that way, then eventually you get someone who gets a bit zealous and contacts these people in game with some nasty threats. Problem is, if you guys don't know them or they don't check out with you, you hunt them and that is not your place. I am fairly sure GMs get tired of the excess tickets when they have already checked and can't find the evidence, you just keep reporting when they are doing everything they can without crossing a moral line.

I havent been subscribed for... 5 months and 5 days.

Then they say "oh but Daniolaut, you have 270, 260 and 250 gear." (but in a much more mocking/insulting way) to which I would respond. If you notice, my achievements during the last 5 months span a condensed time of 14 days. Hmm, how can someone not subscribe but have 14 days? Oh, free trial period. Thus my statement is true.

One day, people who use parsers will see, while they like to pretend they dont gloat, and bad mouth other players, thus negatively impacting the player base, can and does lead to people like me, and many others I have known to quit, thus Square-Enix left with less money. (Or i can at least pretend, although extremely doubtful.)

Oh look a thread on this very topic, of another player, who is saying they are being down talked by people who think parsing is acceptable! (oh but wait, maybe they dont have brain cells either.) Impossible to reason with much?
