Question regarding the fourth housing district.

Now this wasn't something addressed during the keynote so I figured I'd post the question here, with the fourth housing district we're getting in Stormblood (a far eastern style house), my question is this:

If an FC leader that has the expansion goes and buys a house there, can people that haven't purchased the expansion or haven't reached the content yet still teleport there to hang out with their FC mates?

I hope not! Not if an FC has anyone below the level to get in to the xpac that might have their chocobos stabled. I really hope they address this.

well the data is loaded to your game, no matter if you acutally have access. Id' suppose you just cant leave the housing district then... after all, my lv 5 twink in limsa could enter our fc and teleport to gridania as well...

I doubt they'd lock anyone out of the FCs estate if it were in the new housing zone, but it's always a possibility it got overlooked. Won't know without a dev response or when the new housing district launches. Maybe we'll get more information at the liveletter later.

I have a feeling you're right but I wanted to make sure it was a question that wasn't overlooked. I figured it was the sort of thing that should be asked sooner rather than later.

You have to do quests to unlock each housing area. Depends on where this quest would be I would think.

Even without doing the housing quests a new player can teleport to a fc house

You don't completely have to unlock housing to go to the housing areas. Like if you started in Limsa, usually you wouldn't be able to leave till the 15 quest, BUT you can tele out and explore if you are in an FC in Gridania/Uldah, I imagine they'd allow it with the new housing.
