Is that another city-state to the east of Kugane? Think its reads "Bekyo"?
So we have the small continent of Koshu with two city states?

I'm a little confused about how we are going to be retaking Doma, there seems little reason for the Eorzan Alliance to go there and the game has implied that Doma's militray was crushed and 3.5 seemed to show just how much of a military advantage Gelamide has at the moment. (sorry for the spelling by the way.)
How are we going to traverse from Ala Mhigo through that huge, cloud-covered continent and all the way to Othard? Does anyone think we will be taking an airship or a boat southward to bypass Garlemald?
Look at the trail of ships going from Thavnair to Kugane, that's the normal sea route traders take, and that's likely the route we will be taking.
Well I am kinda interested and at the same time nervous how they will handle the liberation of two nations in one expansion. Even in HW I sometimes felt like things went on too fast and all the drama around Uldah was done really fast too. I truly hope that this wont leave us with too half baked attempts for Doma and Ala Mhigo. They also told us that we will meet the new guy in 3.55 but at the same time shouldnt we also get to know the identity of the girl in red around the same patch? Isnt introducing two different characters from two different countries a little too much in that short time?
Someone else pointed out that the journey to the other land could take up to 2 months on a ship. What big reasons might the WoL have to leave Eorzea behind for such a long time? Especially if we at the same time have to take care of the problem that rose in 3.5, the galearn soldiers that are still on Eorzea itself and the liberation of Ala Mhigo. I mean we are kinda a person that tries to help everyone but why should we leave for a land we dont even know?
Since the new housing district is in doma and they said that they will release that later because people should focus on the story..well this might be a hint that we will go to Doma quite early in the expansion. Otherwise it would not make sense to release it later, since most people would need their time to even reach Doma.
IMO depending on how they will handle this, it might have been better to have Doma as the next main expansion.
(Its a little sad for monks..I mean someone pointed out that the samurai in the trailer is Derplander..he did not even stay as a monk for one expansion..probably lost all his stacks all the time..damn noob derplander /joke >_<)
I wonder if that's the area drained by the Othard equivalent of a Primal...the area that "inspired" Solus zos Galvus to rid Hydaelyn of all such threat (as mentioned in the EE).
Looks like it...tried to make out the name of the island it's on as well but I can only read part of it - looks like Daiten something, but the last couple letters are giving me a lot of trouble...maybe z followed by something I can't make out at all.
The other island, the one where you'll find Kugane, is much easier to read due to enough being in the trailer - it's Shishu.
I feel like we're going to have to go to Othard first. Whatever happens in 3.5 Part 2 will probably go very badly for us and we're forced to leave Eorzea. Come back to Ala Mihgo at like level 69 or 70 and really liberate it (then the 4.1-4.2 patches are for the fallout of that)
I also don't feel like it will be the Alliance that leaves, or even the Scions for that matter; likely just the WoL, Yugiri and Alisae that go. Maybe Nero too...

So wait... I get the impression Ala Mhigo is only going to be a small fraction of Stormblood, then the new continent will be much later in the storyline. Either that or we find that Ala Mhigo will be "lost" completely thanks to Omega and that drives us to go to Othard to chase it down before the Empire gets a chance to use it for themselves. Those poor refugees can't catch a break.
