    Why would you pick your allegiance based on how stupid their terrain is outside?

    Anyway, apparently the "Free Company" system allows you to join a Grand Company as a large group. So you could be allied with the Immortal Flames personally, but be in a player company that has allied with the Twin Adder, thus being able to experience both.
