I would argue that leveling is super slow. There is no tools for making parties and unless you have some big group of friends playing FFXIV you really have no choice but to solo. Leveling definitely isn't fine. I would love to join a party and get more then 6k an hour which i get solo from leves. My linkshell usually has nobody on it most of the time or maybe 1 or 2 people if lucky to catch someone on, so that really isn't an option to level fast.

All the people that have like a bunch of level 50 jobs probably did it with a set group or a linkshell. I find it hard that you would solo all of that. I been playing since the launch of the game and still haven't yet to get anything to 50.
Although a "better" LFG tool is needed (there is one just never used) getting parties is pretty simple. Go to Uldah, and /sh your Class/lvl and your looking for group. Hell create your own *usually alot faster*. If you don't know where to go, ask. Someone will give you an idea.
