For the first time in my life I've finished a dungeon with 10 minutes left on the timer. It was HELL.

Your friend could have left, eaten the penalty, queued again and finished the dungeon again in that amount of time...

I find it mind-boggling that you were happy to enable two players that were clearly extremely bad or clearly trolling the hell out of you and your friend.

Two fails on that front and no sympathy for the self inflicted!

Patch day: Only thing I want from the place drops.

Moved on to the Aether Oil part of my relic, and realized I'd stashed 4 of the 5 oils needed in my retainer ages ago, so it was time for one more run through CT. I queue for all 3 and I got Syrcus first, and clear it with no incident.

I get to WoD next, and I notice it's going to be a little different as soon as we get to the Angry Mango; 4-5 of my party members would get Doom'd and do nothing about it and die, and my fellow Healer seems to drop from full to dead like a rock quite often. Those same 4-5 were also picking up heavy stacks from the split-color floor mechanic. Eventually the whole alliance wipes with like 1% of the mango's health to go, and seeing as I'm wearing my crown, I switch into Mentor mode and start explaining Mango's mechanics to the party. Suddenly, 1-2 fewer less Doom's, and the ones that do don't die to it. They also never pick up more than maybe a second stack to the floor mechanic. Boom, we clear Angry Mango.

The hydra dragon thing posed little issue so I didn't bother explaining anything and we do fine (healer's still dropping like a rock). On Cerberus, I decide not to take any chances and explain the whole "clear puddle before purple puddle' thing to the DPS, and we clear him the first try. During this one, one of them commented that I was "cute" (I'm on my Miqo'te character, naturally) and trying so hard to be positive, and closed with "+ comm"

Naturally I explain the more important aspects of the final boss, and the other healer outright confesses that all her gear had broken and that if multiple party members go down, to rez them last. Well, she was the only one to die repeatedly so I had no issue yanking her back up on her feet while more or less solo-healing the rest of our party, everyone staying on the correct side of clouds and not wandering out in the middle to get hit by the corridor AOE when the Cloud moved, and we clear it on our first attempt. I end up getting 6 comms at the same time (quite possibly a personal record).

It was a complete 180º from that horrible Sch nightmare I subjected myself to in The Vault, and the #1 reason I became a mentor. Yeah, I didn't need the crown for that, but I love helping players improve and see a drastic improvement so quickly.

Yeah we could have kicked them or leave duty but we're very patient when it comes to easy content. I really hope that we were trolled and that this is not their actual skill level.

I got that yesterday! We got Zurvan. We wiped because the healers couldn't keep the tanks up during the add phase.

Well quickest run I have ever bailed out of. Load in, cast protect and the tank and dps run off and miss it. "...." run up again and cast it and get told to shut up. Yeah, not dealing with that.

Meh. Just Swiftcast Protect once they get to the end of the pull. It's not like you'll need Swiftcast before it's up again.
