Props to the tank and Ninja from Aethero just now that tried to cheese the exploding turrents on the first boss and got one shot by the explosion and bailed out instantly, with fresh to 60 healer and what appeared to be their first 60 poor guy has to reque now because two people tried and failed to cheese a mechanic.

Lvling CNJ and I got copperbell mines. Right when we load in I'm greeted by "So and so is bad at tanking please bear with her" I'm like oh god, can't be that bad, I totally understand. This tank is only auto attacking so me and the archer are getting agro the whole time. The friend who spoke up was barely attacking, just chilling. I said "Make sure to use flash." The tank used flash AFTER the mobs were dead, just once, every time. I said "Use flash ON the mobs not after they are dead lol" But still, nothing. Unfortunately I left because I couldn't take it anymore.

My latest fail experience:

Was in a pre-made FC party for Void Ark tonight with a really obnoxious, trollworthy tank in one of the other alliances (C). The Alexandrian accessories of Slaying should have given it away, though...

There were literally no brakes with this guy to begin with (which was understandable to a degree albeit slightly annoying) but as the run progressed, things got worse.

For Sawtooth and Cuchulainn he would randomly provoke off of the main tanks and run the mobs into other players trying to get them killed, all the while spamming alliance chat "ffs tanks, learn to keep hate, git gud" His alliance refused to kick him for this, since I guess they thought it was funny or were also probably premade.

This continued on up until Echidna when all of a sudden, alliance A and B just hivemind and...stop. We'd basically had enough of the trolling and put our foot down. Meanwhile, alliance C goes gung ho, bragging about how they're going to carry and end up wiping on the first add phase while the rest of us sit outside, laughing at them.

Cue salt and screams of "we're going to report you for griefing" while the rest of us charge in and kill it as they all return. It was beautiful.

best part is they cant cause the logs will show they where at fault and you guys weren't even in the fight for the last boss so they only get themselves in trouble

Ok, this one has been nipping at my tail for a while now, and I finally could not take it anymore...

Doing my roulettes for WT, lights, lore and poetics I have been seeing these tanks that are dropping out of parties as soon as the gate drops or even before that..

As a tank main I just have to ask...why? WHY?!

This one particular instance I decided to do leveling roulette for the singing cluster quest (my last one), and it drops me into the vault, which btw is one of my most hated dungeons. It's me, as BRD, a AST, WAR and a NIN.

NIN says they are new even before the screen loads for me, asking if it's ok to watch cutscenes. We all agree and say our hello's. (I mean, it's the vault, there is like only a 30-40 second cutscenes at the last boss room.)

No sooner does the gate drop, the WAR instantly leaves. Now seriously, even with the Vault, the pulls are basically done for you...and it isn't that long, so why leave? What other dungeon in the leveling roulette or below 60 dungeons are going to go faster for you. Fishing for a story mode primal? Good luck...

Anyway, I figure I can not just let this slide. I have been lucky so far with tanks popping in almost immediately, but watching them leave just grinds my gears, especially if there is a new person in the party..so I ask the party if they are willing to let me drop and requeue as tank, even though the possibility of me getting the same party again is slim to none (most of the time.) Everyone is in agreement and thanks me for the offer. AST is even sure I will return. ^^

So I drop and pop back in as my DRK, just as my DPS replacement appears as well, I ask the AST which pulls he prefers, and I am told to go at my leisure, which I do, and pull lots, when I can.

The run? Perfect. No wipes, mechanics were explained and preformed nicely by all, new person got to watch their CS at the end, and most of the run was full of fun times and a bit of conversation here and there, a nice change of pace from some of the zombie runs we all usually get.

And the kicker? With all the messing around, we still cleared it way before that 30 min timer was up..

Please..if you are just gonna fish for content in a roulette, how about NOT going on a tank or healer job..at least if you leave as a DPS, you open the door for another one that may be waiting in the queue...

Doesn't matter if the DPS drop like flies because they have no clue what they're doing. It's always the healers fault.

Had a super weird Sohm Al HM run where the scorpion boss at the end didn't do ANY of his mechanics at all. Just stood there and autoattacked the entire fight.

None of us have any idea what caused it, although my guess is that the DRK's positioning had something to do with it. I think the boss tried to target him with that lava hole thing, and then something bugged out and it never executed it.

Zurvan EX AGAIN.

I was running with some friends who had cleared but were still really new to the fight and 3 pug people. We weren't doing very well but I was keeping on eye out for mistakes so that I could explain what was done wrong to help them.

At one point 3 people died to the first set of meteors. If you've run a lot of Zurvan you'd know that's extremely difficult to recover from WITH A GREAT TEAM because there's another set of meteors, soar, the stack, and demon claw right after and to top it off this group was having trouble stacking for southern cross. So my reaction is to not drag this impending wipe out and stand in a cleave so I can watch for mechanics issues with the rest.

We wipe a bit later as expected, and as soon as I start giving productive pointers to the group that tank just starts going off on me, cursing about how I ruined the fight and what I dumb*** I was for standing where I was standing and ragequits.

Yeah that was supposed to be a farm and yeah I can understand being frustrated, but you'd think I'd keyed his car or something.

When I loaded in, chat was filled with "Hope everyone is having a great day" and "Let's all do our best!"

For the first time in my life I've finished a dungeon with 10 minutes left on the timer. It was HELL.

A friend of mine asked if a healer could join 'Hullbreaker Isle (Hard)' in progress and so I joined. I looked at the time and it had 50 minutes left.
I sprint to find them at the 2nd set of adds.. did not even kill one boss. I was very confused as what they did in the past 40 minutes.

I then realized once I reached the group that dps was very, very, very low. Probably this is what resulted in the other healer leaving.

So I switched to CS and my friend tank was already in DPs stance since the other two dps were.. auto attacking?
Me and him try our best to dps. At first I thought that the two dps were bots because I've never seen such low dps before, like ever.
but I saw them dodging AoEs just fine.

No time to type and say anything to them. Me and my tank friend continue to DPs as much as we can and we finished the dungeon with 10 minutes left.
It felt like doing it without any damage dealers at all. Not to mention we were level synced as well.
